And now for the next challenge my merry DFFW'ers.....I've got a hen weekend in 3 weeks time and I'm setting myself a challenge to lose another 10lbs by then to hopefully fit into some nice unworn clothes in my wardrobe (rather than splurge on new!).

I've been slacking a bit and as of this morning, I'm 14st 6lb......so you can all shout at me lots Harvey styleee if I don't make it!!!:grouphug:

Am feeling empowered today so will make the most of this surge of optimism!

    Yeay!

I posted earlier this week about how chubby I was feeling and said that I didn't want to get on the scales.

    Well I did later on ... 11st 7lbs

(That's a 2st weight gain in the last four years, btw  )

I'm not sure if I've posted my weight before, but I want to see it in black and white.

Anyway - I weighed myself again this morning - 11st 4lbs. I don't understand. 3lbs off? I pigged out last night and it's the wrong time of the month (yes, I am feeling bloated, thank you, and my baps feel like Lea's from BB7 even if they don't look like it). And the scales are new, so should be OK.

I've been the gym twice already this week - surely that won't have done it?

Oh well. I'll take it as a good sign and hopefully continue.

    Weird.
 What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about?

Hmmmmm....somehow I always imagined you as a skinny little thing with all that gym work. "Baps like Lea"???? Scary! Instant weight-loss is good though.

I think you'll find that massive pig-outs tend to take a few days to catch up with you......i.e the weekend always gets me by weigh-in day and then I'm all thin again by Friday. Oh for permanent thin-ness.

I have this urge for chocolate.....make it go away!!!!!

I wouldn't be on here if I was a skinny little thing! However, I used to be a lot slimmer (although I am an old-fashioned curvy lady and like having a bum, waist and bam-bams) - I was ill a few years ago and my medication made me expand. I'm off it now, but the "extra" is still with me.

I also haven't given the gym my full attention of late (I used to go everyday, so I picked up a lot of tips and I know what to do - I just don't do it enough!).

Right - I'm going to strap my Leas down and head off to the market, stopping en route at the gym.

You shouldn't go to the gym every day anyway.....apparently your muscles need time to recover from the exercise otherwise you'll just damage them.....says my body builder/personal trainer brother.....to his sister who hasn't been near a gym in...ummmm.....2+ years!

I know all about curvy.....bring back Raphael I say! Was it him?

Right - I'm off to Costco.....oh the glamour of my life! :D

Depends what you do - if you train different muscle groups, you're OK. I often used to do a yoga class inbetween as well.
