There's not way I'm getting in to a costume at the moment.. but I think If I hit my target weight in 2007 this will be my treat! I'll be training for a triathlon then! All this running and cycling, then swimming!! lol
Sounds like a lovely idea, but I couldn't possibly do it. Not in these heels. What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -
Pinching an idea I've just seen on another thread....(where Minnie was being a comedian as always - ever thought of a career change girl?).....it's all about the power of positive thought. Chant this thought with belief in your heart and hark....when you get on yonder scales, they shall register a loss!
"Weight loss comes easily to me, weight loss comes easily to me...."
or maybe "I will lose 4 lbs this week, I will lose 4 lbs this week...."
Altogether now....
Put on this week after large weekend.....must chant louder!!!!0 -
You've lost over a stone though Freebird which is excellent!
I was quite happy last night- went out running and overtook a couple of cyclists! (Mind you they were going extremely slowly...)
Lost another couple of pounds too so total so far 2 stone 8 lbs. :j Wish I could stay motivated though!0 -
A two stone 8lb loss combined with managing running (never mind overtaking cyclists) would be enough to keep me motivated!!!! WELL DONE you!:T :T
I wish some smarty-pants scientist out there would reverse all those cheeky little atoms so that healthy salad and fruit makes you put on weight and chocolate, cake, wine and general yumminess makes you lose it......ahhhhh, now that's a nice thought to take me into this glass of...ummm....water...sigh.....:rolleyes:0 -
Wow = Luckystepho, that's EXCELLENT!

Quote from Minnie on other Chanting thread
"I am a bingo winner
I have a bingo winner
I have bingo winner
I have bingo wings
 How did that happen?"
And the David Tennant comment had me laughing out loud - totally agree. And lots of laughing is very DF&FF you know - tones up those tummy muscles no end....just in time for Jason Statham to come and sweep me off my feet....yum....
Damn...I just woke up.0 -
Thanks looking ahead and Freebird you are both doing so well too!
I know what you mean about the bingo wings... one of these days I am gonna start running and take off!!0 -
Serves 4 - Each serving provides 3 Points
Ingredients:
2 medium brown onions
2 tsp minced garlic
1kg Roma tomatoes, chopped (I just used normal everyday tomatoes!)
2 cups of water
2 vegetable stock cubes
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce (I am vegetarian so used 'Maggi Liquid Seasoning' instead)
2 tbs fresh parsley, chopped
2 x 400g borlotti beans, rinsed, drained
Instructions:
1. Coat a large pan with cooking spray, heat and cook the onion and garlic, stirring, until onion is soft.
2. Add the tomatoes, keep stirring and cook until tomato softens. Stir in the combined water, stock and sauce. Bring to the boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
3. Blend the tomato mixture until almost smooth. Return to the pan and stir in the parsley and beans. Simmer, uncovered for about 5 minutes or until hot."Debt makes plans for you" - A quote from my friend Catherine. How true!0 -
