If I don't lose some of this flab then no amount of bingo wings will make me take off.....I'll just be landing in the gutter with a heavy thud!0 -

I want to post here so that I feel accountable not only to myself but also to the beady eyes of the DF&FFWs!! Sorry if I sound a bit hardcore but I am so determined at the moment that I want to achieve what I can whilst I am feeling 'on top of things'! I also am a goal-orientated person so need the structure in order to achieve.
TARGET WEIGHT:
9st (am presently 9st 10lb)
GOALS FOR WEEK BEGINNING 24TH JULY:

No alcohol (eek!) (Cracked on Thursday OH bought a bottle of wine. Had two glasses. No more for the rest of the week! Not done was very naughty)
Drink nothing but water (popping out for a fizzy drink has cost me a fortune - I believe it is a habit that I need to break. (Well I cracked and had some orange juice but that's ok!)
EXERCISE:
Monday - swim (done)
Tuesday - swim (done)
Thursday - swim (done)
Saturday - swim (done)
Sunday - run (not done - moved to Monday)
RECIPES:
I am basically following the Weightwatchers 'points' diet (although am not paying to have a weigh in!) and will be cooking a selection of the following recipes this week:
Hearty, tomato & borlotti bean soup (3 points per serving) (Cooked on Monday - am having for lunch today. Have frozen two portions)
Quorn, chickpeas & lemon casserole (5 points per serving) (Cooked on Monday. Delicious!)
Chickpea salad (2 and a half points per serving) (Made on Thursday. Slurp!)
Roasted peanut and sweet potato curry (5 points per serving)
Shepherds bean pie (5 points per serving)
Thai sweet potato soup (5 points per serving) (Cooked on Monday. Super delicious! Have also frozen two portions)
Vegetable tofu lasagne (3 points per serving)
Moroccan couscous salad (4 points per serving) (Made on Tuesday. Lovely in hot weather.)
Spiced egg & vegetable fritatta (3 points per serving) (Made on Thursday. Yum!)
Aubergine and tofu stir-fry (2 and a half points per serving) (Made on Friday. Was ok but good for protein.)
Grilled halloumi and tomato platter (4 and a half points per serving) (Made on Friday. My OH loved this!)
If anyone wants any of these recipes I can supply although it might take a while to type them up!
Wish me luck - and good luck to all in your quest!

OK so how did I do? Drumroll...
I lost 3 pounds! Hurray!! 7 pounds to go. How is everybody else doing?"Debt makes plans for you" - A quote from my friend Catherine. How true!0 -
Congratulations Annie Fanny! That's great.
Visited my sister this weekend and went horse riding so am now walking like John Wayne!!0 -
 I haven't been able to do much over the weekend as somehow I have managed to hurt my lower back. NO idea how, it just started to hurt yesterday afternoon whenever I bend to lift something or sit down.
Went to work today and went out for a walk at lunchtime as I can walk without problems and NHS online advice says to keep mobile as sitting about will do no good at all. Grrrrr. Just as it cools off a bit and I wanted to have another go at the DVD FF69 sent me this happens.
Oh well, we'll see what the rest of the week brings. Other than ibuprofen.
By the way FANKS for the recipes Annie Fanny - they sound YUM!! :TBank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Wow....well done Annie Fanny :T :T :T Much better than me - a combination of OH's birthday, family bbqs etc have wrecked my good intentions this week. Oh well, hold in tummy and be better next week.
Looking Ahead..you poor thing...hope that back gets better soon.....have a steaming hot bath when you get in and that might loosen things up!
Back to work....have just set up my own website and am busy stocking it with the sparkly contents of a delivery I got today....am sooooo excited even though it means sitting on big bottom and not getting any exercise!!
Be good everyone....and if you can't be good....enjoy it!!!!0 -
Well done
Have you got a recipe for the vegetable tofu lasagne? No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
No gym for me this weekend or today - but have been charging around PC World instead.
I'm "resting" this week - back at work next week (there's a tale...) so unless some unexpected temp work turns up, I have no excuse not to go every day from tomorrow. What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160 -
