MM, I'm sixth on the list, have been in what the midwife calls early labour for five days, have a baby locked and loaded in the outgoing position, and the only thing keeping her in there is my steel-plated cervix, which is refusing to dilate (1cm, five days, I am so angry with it).

I'd let you be top of the list for a month if it got the child out today or tomorrow. Seriously.

congrats tara :D she is gorgeous :D

was wondering if you ladies could help me with any hay fever tips i normally take really strong tabs from the docs but cant take them anymore , also we will be flying to spain in just bout 8 weeks (hol was booked before i found out i was preg) so if anyone been on plane lately it would good to have some tips to make things bit better i will be about 20 weeks when i fly as im exact 12 weeks today

hope everyone is doing fine :D you all seem to be so busy and it takes me to get out of bed just now and have 9 year old on school hols :(

Lloyds allergy relief works great for me! Shove it up your nose 4 times a day and it has completely got rid of my hayfever. Plus it's safe as it's just two red light probes.

Just as I was about to post that things have settled down, they started again  But co-codomol has helped and I'm less crampy and uncomfortable so I'm guessing it's not labour after all.

I just had the weirdest feeling in my belly! I was sat on a chair and leant forward quite a bit so my belly was a bit squashed and I felt this rumbling, not dissimilar to when your tummy rumbles when you are hungry, but feeling like in a different place, and not exactly the same. It was very strange. I'm sure at just 9 weeks it can't be anything baby-related can it?
But I've never felt anything like it before. How strange!

    Hi girls,

    Congratulations Tara!!! She's gorgeous!! X

I flew (in a plane obviously lmao) to Florida when I was 18weeks, back at 20weeks and Im still alive! Don't worry, just follow the advice given about drinking lots of water, get up and move around alot and wear correctly fitting flight socks!

I think quite a few of us on here need a big hug at the mo :grouphug: abit dodgy looking but a hug all the same.
love my little man he is amazing :j

xkymx - my midwife told me to walk around every half hour, wear flight socks and make sure I drank plenty of water. But that was a 9 hour flight to America when I was 14 weeks. But as Jennynoo says it is always worth mentioning to your mw.

Sorry you seem to have already known this.

Helen - it is good to be viable (as per a post you put on yesterday) although it is such a horrible word!!

Also I am now 55th on the list!!
Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Floyd Peter arrived 9th July 2011 (1 day early) :D

Sarah Joanne, yes it could well be baby,it has been known before! Is this your 1st baby? It probably wasn't baby if it is your 1st but if you have had children before theres a chance as you do tend to feel movement abit earlier.

Wow! I didn't think I could feel anyting this early. This will be my first baby but I did have a previous pregnancy which I had terminated at around 17 weeks (long story, sure nobody will but please don't judge!).

I really hope it was baby though, as that means I should feel it again! It was really different to any other feeling I've had though so I guess we'll see!!!
