I'm going to need another cookie, which means I need to finish my glass of water. I like to think of this cycle as keeping myself hydrated rather than stuffing my face with cookies.

Omg i am lethal, I put the veggies on for our dinner for tonight and fell asleep. I just woke in a massive panic thankfully they were on a very low setting and are ok and i haven't burned the kitchen down. I really need some engery and tips? Does any one take any vitamins etc. i drink tons of water and eat fruit and veg not just rubbish. I am a SAHM so i don't go out to work so i don't know why i am so tired. I fell asleep on the sofa at 9 last night so i hope i make it all the way through the movie at the cinema tonight but a comfy chair, sweets and darkness i don't fancy my chances.

Suzy, re afterpains, they weren't so bad with no.5 and seem ok this time. They do hurt but not the toe curling ones I had with no.4. I really can't recommend raspberry leaf tea enough, just had my tummy checked just now and she said my uterus is already under my umbilical and it's less than 24hrs. I will keep drinking it for the next couple of weeks. I do take take painkillers for feeding though, just in case. I would have a discussion with MW now in advance if you're concerned. X

Elastigirl, I've been taking Tesco's own multivitamins for pregnancy all the way through. I still need a lot of naps, and cookies to counteract the tiredness, but my bloods have been perfect for everything all the way through.

I stockpiled, so if I have any more after the birth I'm going to keep taking them and then switch to something specifically for BF.

And relieved, I can walk now and even use the loo without pain. :j

Still not slept properly as on a high, we're in the staring at her and stroking fingers and toes stage now. Can't stop kissing and hugging her! :p Kids are over the moon.

Thanks Tara - I'm in more pain with the after birth pains than i am in labour. All the midwives have said is that i would have to take paracetamol every 4 hours but i was taking them every 4 hours in the night too as the pain is so bad and it was waking me up. I have a high pain threshold too so im getting worried about it now.

Thats great about your uterus so you think the RL has helped with that? I havent tried it as whenever ive tried herbal tea i really dont like it .

Sorry to have asked you when you've just given birth - Hope your feeling well and getting some rest
