Skinty, thank you for the update on Hypno! Glad things are ok.
I also take a pregnancy multi vit and my iron levels have been excellent. Before I had been on iron tablets so I'm glad to have avoided that. Take them before bed though as they tend to repeat on me otherwise.
Went and got some raspberry leaf tea today, first cup brewing.
TMI!!!
Had to visit the loo againstill a bit crampy and getting BH but it's not worrying. However I do have a LOT of clear discharge, runny with a lot of mucus, kinda like egg white.
Hmmm... RLT is ok0 -
Glad your more relaxed FD, any chance you can send some nice MW this way please, they are in short supply round here!
Suzy - maybe you should give the tea a miss, any short labour and you'll be sneezing and bub will just pop out :rotfl:
Welcome Kavinam and congrats. Pull up a chair and make yourself comfy0 -
Tia, are you sure you don't have an escapee on your hands?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Tia, are you sure you don't have an escapee on your hands?
I dunnoRight now I'd say I am not in labour but might be the early stages?? Or have an infection?
Day care tomorrow so if nothing else happens tonight I can get checked then. If something else does happen to make me more worried I'll give them a call.0 -
For those behind me on the edd list i had my a midwife appointment today following my booking bloods at the hosp 3 weeks ago.
She ran through the results of all the tests and answered all the questions i had. I can have my anti D injection at 28 weeks as i am rhesus negative. She took a wee sample and checked my blood pressure.
Next appointment is for my 20 week scan in 5 weeks time and then back to the midwife at 25 weeks (unless they book me in for anything else - lol) then off for a glucose test at 28 weeks with an anti D injection, see consultant again, and see an anasthetics team as i find it difficult to come around.
I have found the care at the heath hospital very good so far. I know of 2 births there recently one emergency cs and one delivery - both mums happy and home so maybe services are improving0 -
HUGE congarts Tara she looks lovely :j
Mountain – scary thought I can't believe I've been pregnant for the whole of this year!!!!
Suzy – Re the RLT and holland & barret I found them useless when I went in and asked questions and was met with the helpful answer of oh i didn't know why people used them!
As for me I got all the ironing done, had some lunch and then went for a 2 hour nap  so just waiting for dinner to finish cooking now
Did get a bit worried earlier as not feeling much movement so was going to give until 7pm before calling the hospital but the baby is moving like mad now so feeling much better.
In terms of waters going in public I'm still holding out for B&Q as apparently they give you £250 and I would love a greenhouse
Anyway was tempted to book for Harry Potter tomorrow but in the posh seats so I'm comfy but for the 2 of us it'll be £31  so I think I'll give it a missYou laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -
Evening bumpsters!
Firstly, congratulations Tara. She is so gorgeous- you must be absolutely over the moon.
Work was pretty hideous- the entire back storage area and office flooded. Took three of us nearly two hours to mop it up, which did my back no good whatsoever. I am now home, absolutely exhausted. I just cannot wait to crawl into bed.
Glad to hear that Hypno is ok. Fingers crossed she can come home soon.
Kym- I flew to Spain a couple of weeks ago at 22 weeks. I wore flight socks on the midwife's recommendation and it was absolutely fine.
On the breast stroke debate, I was told that it's because your hip joints are looser, and the leg movement of breast stroke puts you at risk of injury.
I'm sure I had loads more to say but cannot remember what:o......no doubt I will be back in a minute with the rest.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Sorry that I haven't had time to catch up, but had to check if tara had popped yet, and I see she has!
Congratulations Tara  , she is gorgeous!
