Umm breastroke is a funny thing to be told not what to do, we do lots of movements with arms and legs similar to that in breastroke and were told they are good for the tummy muscles and also to open up your chest.

I'd be stuffed if I couldn't do breaststroke swimming as it's the only style I can do. (Apart from the sideways breaststroke that my nan showed me which minimises hair getting wet - apparently)

congrats tara :D she is gorgeous :D

was wondering if you ladies could help me with any hay fever tips i normally take really strong tabs from the docs but cant take them anymore , also we will be flying to spain in just bout 8 weeks (hol was booked before i found out i was preg) so if anyone been on plane lately it would good to have some tips to make things bit better i will be about 20 weeks when i fly as im exact 12 weeks today

hope everyone is doing fine :D you all seem to be so busy and it takes me to get out of bed just now and have 9 year old on school hols :(

Don't know about hay fever but for flying you should drink a glass a water every hour and do the usual moving around, wiggling your feet etc. However that was for a 10 hour flight so you should be fine on a short trip to Spain but ask your midwife as well for any specific info.

Me too jenny - no breaststroke would mean no swimming!

Can't help you with cervical erosion and large poops - the latter's something I've not done since before I was pregnant :(

Ooh I just added a thing to my iGoogle homepage which shows me a virtual pic of baby and develops throughout the pregnancy! Very cute!

Kym I will also be flying around the same time as you as I'm off to Egypt for my honeymoon in September. Will be 18 weeks going and 20 weeks coming back. I've been advised to move my legs around, get up and walk about every hour at least and wear flight socks. Also I think keeping hydrated is a good idea. HTH.

Upon doing a little digging online, it appears that the idea is that the breast stroke position may aggravate SPD. I always thought it had something to do with stomach muscles. Hmmmm......
