I don't think I'm lucky enough to go all on my own. Which is strange, I'm 34 weeks tomorrow so should be wanting her to cook longer, but every day I wait feels like I'm pushing my luck so I do want to go on my own, early. With both the boys (well I had DS2 by now) I had already been in hospital for well over a week and had pre-eclampsia for over 3 weeks.

But I am getting tightening's standing up, sitting down, walking, lying etc. But they are not regular and some are worse than others?

Anyway, got some lunch as I have the shakes, got a pint of sparkly water and diluting blackcurrent (sugar free ofcourse) taken 2 co-codomol and will see what happens.

I want to clean and have a burst of energy but I think that's more in my head than anything else! :rotfl:

I don't know what's happening, but I hope whatever is happening is what you want to be happening, whatever that may be. And if you can understand that convoluted sentence, your brain is still functioning well and you are definitely not in labour, and quite possibly not even pregnant :rotfl:

I'll be thinking about you today, and checking back in periodically to see what is happening with you. Are you sorted with someone to help with DS if things do kick off? That's my main worry about starting early, if I do, as its harder to get someone just to step into the breach when its an SN kid ime.

    Hi everyone,

    Congratulations Tara she's beautiful!

Hugs to Beenie, Nicki and anyone else I may have forgot.

    Hope everything's ok Tia x

Just had a bath with one of those lush bath bomb thingies, it had all leafy-type things in it and I even found a little glittery butterfly but I won't tell you where! I keep finding bits of it on me now grr - smells nice though!

Got my second MW appointment this afternoon hopefully will get my MATB1 form as finishing work (well remaining annual leave first) next Tues and don't really want to have to nip back with it. I'm hoping they won't be funny with me about it like the receptionist was last time. I'm 26 weeks now so I'm thinking it should be ok. I was supposed to only go MW at 28 wks but I just made an appointment anyway. Not sure what to expect from it other than that - do they take a wee sample or ask for a swab?

Yesterday in work I felt even more sure I'm making the right decision going on ML so early. Everyone and his dog was making comments about my appearance, even my hair along with the speed of my typing and that I was limping (sciatica). I work mostly with a lot of fairly rough blokes and the comments were not positive such as "I was meaning to mention how much weight you'd put on" and "you could have brushed your hair before you came in" (because I hadn't straightened it as I usually do) people were insisting it was all to "wind me up" because I'm leaving but I honestly felt like I was the butt of everyone's jokes and that any more would have had me running to the toilet in tears. They also said there would be no collection for me until the baby is born (which obviously is in Oct when no one will probably even berloody remember me!) I don't want a fuss when I leave at all but I just thought it was unneccessary to say this in front of me.

    I sthe sale online?

Dh is due home at 3pm, so thats 2 hours for things to settle, stay the same or get worse. The kids can go to his mums and he can take me up if need be. I reccon 2 hours is enough time to get an idea of what is going on and decide if I need to go see someone.

BTW - thanks to Starbump, but maybe we could just draw a big fat line under yesterday's upset now?

I seem to be the one who was most upset about what was said, and I've said I'm happy to let things drop. I don't want aless to feel that she can't continue to post on here any more either, and the longer discussion rumbles on about this, the more likely she is to feel she can't.

This isn't intended by the way to be stifling debate about anything ;) just that I'm not sure continuing to talk about it is taking any of us anywhere.

Fidget - I would guess wee sample, blood pressure and check babies heartbeat. I can't remember if 28 weeks is bloods or not. I had to ask for my MATB1 - my god, she did look put out, even more so when I asked for HIPG form  Have you got yours yet?

Thanks NMS. No I've not had anything like that so far, what week are you allowed to apply for that? I hope they don't act like I'm a hassle for asking like that receptionist harriden did last time! It makes me laugh as surely you want to get these things sorted and they act like you're being a right pain. I've heard a few people on here say that they were unfairly rejected the HIPG when they went early with their babies - I think elle gee was one of them.
