I think Madison is lovely, and Madi too, but it would always remind me of the little girl who went missing in Portugal. I know the proper name isn't the same, but the shortened version was how all the papers referred to her.

My DS is called Adam, and when he was a terrible two (which he wasn't for long, bless him) my side of the family used to call him "Mad Ad" which enraged him. Is there anyone equally daft in your family who might opt for a similar nickname for her :rotfl:

I know this post is a spammer but has anyone looked at the post about the nappy wardrobe real nappies offer? I had to chuckle as one of the big adverts is for a big pack of MINT GREEN nappies!

Skinty, not laughing at you but just made me smile as everyone said mint was difficult to come by :o did you get the dye out of yours? xxx

PS Had my bloods retested on Friday for the high platelets and not heard yet so by 4pm I should be safe to say the levels have returned to normal and I can have my homebirth. Yay!!:j

    ETA Congrats Tara! xxx

    Congratulations Tara!!

Hello to everyone! I havent caught up again since my first postings 50 pages back -you all move to fast I can't keep up!

All ok here, still unsure of how far along I am now but have a midwives appointment next week. Though we're off to a sticky start as she is debating with me on the phone how a scan is never wrong and that even though I know the date of my last period AND the conception date give or take a week for ovulation- the scan couldnt possibly be out. By my calculations (And the lovely person who helped me work it out on here) it could be up to 2 weeks out.

Hope everyone is having a good day!

I saw that and thought of Skinty too! Not because of the mint green nappies though, but because she had shrunk her storage bag, and I thought some of the bags on that site were in funky designer prints which I thought you might like Skinty. At least I liked them, and I also like a lot of the maternity clothes you are wearing in pics you've posted of yourself so I assume we have roughly similar tastes though you are FAR FAR younger than me and can get away with much more than I can on the clothing front! Without wishing to help the spammer along, the prices weren't bad either, so you might want to cheer yourself up by having a looksee?
