Thanks ML. Are you in a lot of pain? It just seems to be whenever I get up to walk around I end up with a bit of a limp. It's only been the last few days or so that I have noticed it.
I spoke to my MW and she has given me the number for the physio and said get in touch and see if they can help, but she can't really do anything for me. So I'll wait and see.

    Morning all :D

Well I'm still here with no signs of anything happening soon so I need all the spare labour dust you ladies have :D

I'm feeling really demotivated today I've got stuff to do but I just can't be bothered to do any of it, even the nice stuff. Is anyone else feeling like this or is it just me

    Anyway, how's everyone this morning?

Following on from SS's post (naughty girl) lol
I've just been reading about nipple stimulation to self induce and thought that i could do that (not in a pervy way you understand! lol )

"In order to use this method for induction, you must stimulate the nipples for long periods of time. The usual recommendation is 15 minutes of continual stimulation on each nipple each hour for several hours"

Not very convenient really is it when you have 4 boys already and are in the middle of decorating the hall plus think id get bored with it too after a short while!

Im looking into the evening primrose capsules though sounds easy enough

So, glad everyone is feeling a little better today anyway :D

Did anyone else find that their morning sickness stopped around 9 weeks??

Mine has been pretty much gone for the last 3 days or so and I'm wondering if it's normal as most things I read say I should be right in the throes of it at this stage? It's probably just different for everyone and I'm lucky enough not to have much and for not long but I tend to worry about these things (which you may have picked up already )

I'm so frustrated with this thread right now. I'm sick of my comment getting dragged up. I think I'll disappear from this thread for a while even I though I really wanted to hear Tara's good news. Gee, thanks.

Karen - it's not constant, but when I get up from sitting or lying for a while I get this shooting pain down my right leg so I can't really lift it properly to walk... so I limp a bit too! I did have a stretch for it but the bump is now in the way! I guess keeping mobile will help, and will probably start sitting on my birth ball a bit more as the angles are better (rather than slouching on the sofa!) I'm also hoping to do a bit more swimming (found out last week can no longer do breastroke though!) which might help. Am planning to do a length of crawl then walk up and down a couple of lengths then repeat... (if I could do crawl for more than one length at a time that'd be great! but walking up and down is good too)

Aless: don't go! We can't have people disappearing! It's probably inevitable that ppl will get upset at some point or another but this thread is basically a good thing and we're all part of it.

nicki- glad you are back here today. have you made an appointment to see mw about your weight loss?? i havent weighed myself at all. i wouldnt know if i'd lost or put on any weight.

I'm on fortnightly checks now, and my next appointment is next week when I'm sure it will come up again. Last week was the first appointment where I had lost weight - but it was about 10lb in the month since the previous appointment - and the doctor did raise his eyebrows at that.

I suspect that its largely due to the stress I'm feeling at the moment. I don't feel hungry ever, and though I try to make sure that I do eat a fairly nutritious meal at every set meal time, OH says the volume I'm eating is smaller than usual, and I hardly ever want a between meal snack. When I do try and eat bigger quantities or more frequently though it either makes me vomit, or gives me bad indigestion or nausea.

ML - have you thought about seeing either a physio or an osteopath? They aren't really all that expensive at least as a one-off consultation if you can't get referred quickly on the NHS. It might be something as simple as the weight of your bump putting pressure on nerve in certain positions and be fixable by a little gentle manipulation of the leg and hip?

Suzy - I read the exact same thing on the weekend, as I said I've got things to do I can't spend a couple of hours a day sat at home playing with my nipples!

With that in mind I'm off to start the ironing even though I can think of nothing worse! Might have a homemade cookie before I start for energy reasons only!
