Oh man, I did vaguely know it was this Saturday but I have to work at 7am so won't get there for the start of it. May pop in after work though as I do like their baby stuff but refuse to pay full whack for it.

I apologise for assuming that the thread was still sometimes about offering support when people are finding things difficult. I know that some of the regular posters know that I recently suffered an episode of PTSD when I was back in the hospital and have been finding the upcoming birth hard to deal with, and they have been kind and offered perspectives and advice which have helped.

Clearly though, its outside the bounds of acceptability to even refer to the fact that a discussion on here has been one of just a number of things in a difficult day which has been hard to deal with, and therefore I won't refer to the matter again, nor will I read or post again tonight.

harley - hope you get a decent refund after everything you've been thru!

GISI - I'm not going to the NEXT sale for baby, might go for me though!
    Is that selfish?

This baby is really wriggly today - my tummy looks like an episode of Alien

Booboo, I'm not getting a new moses basket mattress or crib mattress. I will get a new cot mattress as it will be used for longer and by a heavier child. Had a good look, feel and snoke (smell) and they seem fine to me.

Harvey, a line is a trace, just depends on what brand of test they use.

Gisis, they must have stopped it the link just goes to a blank page now, !!!!!!s.

I gave myself a manicure seeing as my nails are really long. Just the pale pinky clear that you use with a french (hate white tips) but it aint half cheered me up! They are long and neat and pretty and sparkly! lol!

Nicki, I didn't notice the post you meant, but I'm sorry you are upset. You sound like you need a hug.

I for one will be happy to get my VBAC (as it was the c section that was bad for me) but I'll be asking for an epidural too. Thats how my first birth was and it was a good experience. Screw anyone who thinks I'm wrong, I'm doing what is right for me, what makes me feel better. Even going as far as to shove evening primrose oil capsules up my woohoo so I can say I tried everything to get my VBAC!!! The PTSD can make us a lot more sensitive to things that normally wouldn't affect us so come and get a hug and I may even let you have some of my pineapple and melon.

pineapple and melon? I just had plum apple strudel and apricot yoghurt - was very nice!

I'm just trying to get used to having pudding straight after tea instead of an hour or two later. I'll now check my sugars at 10pm!

My Insulin has been put up to 6 units each morning instead of 4 as they aren't happy with my morning levels. Got sent some info from dietician as well.
Just waiting for my scan appt for next Wednesday - doesn't normally take this long

My pineapple's sitting unripe on the windowsill :(

I hate buying fresh fruit in Germany, it all comes in so chilled that it never ripens properly.

Have to get my prostaglandins some other way, and I'm far too cranky and uncomfortable to be seductive. Hey, go take a shower cause I need your, um, input, is hardly going to get him in the mood when his wife looks like a blotchy inverted camel.

SS, evening primrose oil!!! Why do you think I'm shoving it where the sun don't shine? :D

Glam, I have no appetite today for food, I just want cold fruit. No idea what it will do to my glucose levels but I'm going with it, I must be needing something. I realised that all I have had is..

Half a bowl of sultana bran (which I didn't want)
Bowl of soup and 1 slice brown bread
    2 peaches
and now I'm onto 2 slices of pineapple and a quarter a small cantelope melon.
