booboo- you are recommended to buy a new matress, especially as you don't know what the current one has been through!
Harley - I ha trace on one of my samples, MW didn't do anything, just said she'd keep an eye on it next time, it could be a dodgy sample - It could be contaminated if not midflow, a blip or the start of a UTI - I was clear the next time I went.

Half price baby products at Morrisons

Thought this might be of use, although I have just stocked up at Tesco using my latets parenting vouchers. I don't think I need anything else...

Just wanted to ask a quick question. We bought a moses basket and stand from ebay a little while ago and it is in great condition. Do I need to buy a new mattress for it even thought the one in there looks as good as new (but I presume it has been used). Its just I heard that you should have a new mattress for cots although Im not too sure why.
    QUOTE]

Hi Boo. I have my goddaughters moses basket which she used for 3 nights and the cat has used once by the looks of it. I am still going to get a new mattress.
Glam found one on ebay for about £6 delivered and mothercare do them for £9.99. Decided to go for the mothercare one since that guarantees it is new but am half tempted to go somewhere else now due to their complete and utter incompetence. Trouble is there is nowhere else in town anymore, everywhere has closed.

GISI - my idea of partial refund is 1/3 of the price, bringing it down to the price in Argos, which I would have gone to had I have known the problems I was going to face. As I stated in my letter, I would have had the same problems with Argos but I would have known they would happen, it still would have been sorted out sooner and it would have cost me £200 less.
Will let you know what happens if I am ever satisfied and get the refund they have promised. Will also be pointing out to them that the word 'sorry' goes quite a long way when you have c0cked up on such a large scale.

Nicki - I think you know that was never the intention of my post and despite me explaining myself you (and even admitting that the OP was poorly worded) continue to misinterpret what I said. Next time I won't bother if it's just going to get brought up several hours later. I've never criticised you or your choices in labour so I really wish you'd stop phrasing it like I have and putting words into my mouth.

I give up and wish I hadn't even checked the thread tonight.

    Ooh so share SS!

Caz just posted this on the Parenting thread- http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=pampers&domainName=Products&headerVersion=v0&_requestid=126069. Good glitch for anyone that does online shopping with Asda.

OH had started stripping the nursery today so hopefully we can get it all finished and painted in our week off at the end of the month. Got my curtains today. They're the Lollipop Lane Jellybean Jungle ones and I'm really pleased with them.

It's the one about the lesbian lover going over to Ireland and then sitting in the car instead of going to the concert her girlfriend was performing in. I'm a bad person.

perhaps its someting in the water sugar.

Someone said that to me today about work having so many pg people at mo... laughed out loud thinking about that girl in the pool mentioned on here recently. Course, he thought I was being rude when I said 'Bu66er, is that what caused it'.

which, of course, just made me laugh more

Did you all know that the Next sale starts on Saturday?

I could do with another pair of jeans but our store doesn't do maternity, though they have had sale items turn up in the past. Thought I would go and look for a 'coming home' outfit for bubs.
I've not got her anything yet, but she has more donated clothes than I know what to do with, right up to 6-9 months stuff. I'm so lucky
