    GRRRRR.

I've been up since about 11, which is very, very late for me. Since then I have done laundry, dried that load and the one I did overnight, and put all the laundry away. I've done dishes, cleaned the toilet and the room it is in, cleared a bunch of stuff from out of the living room, put the bookshelves back in place and the books back on them and cleaned up the tangle of wires on the floor beside the phone (why is my phone charger not among them and where is it?!) I have fed and watered the cat, taken delivery of 20 antique books, looked up the German word for that plastic wrap stuff you use when you move house (Kunststoffverpackung, should you care) and looked for a place to buy it on a Saturday. I've chased up something weird with my phone and updated the List Of People To Text After The Birth, checked the mailbox and and washed up after lunch.

My OH carried some books up the stairs, slept till 2:30pm and sat down at the computer to read the news. He is currently out in a strop (to buy some heavy duty plastic bags instead of the Kunststoffverpackung) since I asked him what he needed to get done today, since it was 4pm already. I know he's tired, and I know he's in pain (not sleeping properly because he just had a tooth out), but he has been sick with something or other since before we got married and this stuff needs to be done, I can't do it all and we are running out of time.

I asked him to clear up the cat sick (which is still decorating the floor and which I am about to get to out of sheer frustration), take out the rubbish (working on 5 days on that one, I can't get it down four flights of stairs), and pair his damned socks (3 weeks of washed socks all piled up waiting to be paired because he hasn't done them). He also needs to go through the box and bag o'crap in the living room and clear off the window sills of further crap. None of it's my stuff; I can't do it for him. It's not been done.

It is not possible for me to do everything, and I am not the effing maid.

    Rant over. As you were.

When he gets back with those heavy duty bags I suggest you put all his crap in there and add it to the rubbish pile. Tell him that since he has no interest in dealing with it it must be rubbish and to take it out with the rest. Stand over him repeating it until he gives in just to get you off his case.

    Tigs

that really made me laugh, thanks. Think I can cope with the oooh and aaah 's and if the sonographer has a problem with it that is up to her. I'll be happy cos I'll be gazing at my little girl.
Good idea about the chicken, think I'll do that then I can help out a bit more tomorrow.

I attempted to move something that was clearly far too heavy for me, and then pointed out that it needed moving and he was too sick to do it. So he started doing stuff. That lasted long enough to make a massive dent in what needs to be done over the weekend and he's just been out to buy veg and is about to start making dinner. We're having fajitas and refried beans.

He's normally ok about stuff like this, it was just today that he did nothing, I did tons of stuff and then he whinged about being tired. It grated a bit on my oh so sensitive nerves.

searching, wish I'd caught you before you'd gone into town.. You could try Fenugreek capsules which are supposed to help with milk supply - I got 100 capsules from Holland and Barrett for £7.49. They worked for me - well, to a point until stress got to me again, but I really do think they helped initially. Eating oats is good too.

Get in touch with Krystal too - she's awesome ;) Plus she knows all the links - I've got them bookmarked on my laptop but I'm on OH's PC right now. Will get you them when I'm home again if you like :)

Like Nicki was saying earlier, you do what's best for you two :) A stressed out mummy is going to be worse for Jayden than formula ;) xxx

Hi all had my 20 week scan and all was good. Bubs was jumping around like crazy but due to hospital policy I am still in the lemon bump camp!!

will try and attach a few scan pics, i like the first one as you can see the eyeball and face really clearly.

number two is a little foot (and maybe a bum, I don't know lol)

number 3 is a bit scary to me think babys face looks like a carved pumkin
    head!!!

He's normally good about stuff like this SM, and once I made it clear he needed to get involved with it he did a bunch of the heavy stuff. And he's now making dinner. All is forgiven :)

I'd be tempted to supplement with the baby - it'll give your boobs a rest, you can be sure he's getting nutrients in, but you'll be able to keep your supply up. Good luck - do you have cabbage leaves to put in your bra? My mother tells me that chilled cabbage leaves make the girls smell very weird but are great for healing and pain relief. You just have to replace when they start cooking...
