Is that generally frowned upon, then?

I think the orange juice or tonic water mixer tends to give them very nasty poos ;)

I'm hot!! Had lots in mind to do today since walking our dogs then the little dog we have staying, I'm not feeling in the mood to do jack all now!! Bar sit on here and read the paper anyway.

I have had a bumpy rash for about a week or so on my hips, mainly my right hip. I mentioned it at the scan and a couple of docs had a look but didnt seem to know what it was. Well I started putting E45 cream on it (this is ok isnt it?) yesterday and today and I think its calming down. I google'd it yesterday too and it came up that it might be PUPPPs, has anyone had this before? Will mention it to the midwife if it doesnt clear up over the weekend I think. Think I was just making it worse as it was itching me and I was scratching it, oops!!

He's come home now and has left a message with the MW asking her for advice on getting me looked at - his idea... So confused. He says he loves me and knows it's bad how we end up fighting like we do, but i just don't have the energy to think or have an opinion

Arghhh both my arms are itching like mad.

Beenie, you have to do whatever you think is best for you, your older child, and the small one. I'd start with a GP, but all of this stress is so bad for you that you should probably be finding ways to avoid it rather than continue, whatever that might mean. And whatever it means could be temporary while everyone decides what's best for them.

    Sugar and Boo Boo

Someone told me when I had that bumpy rash to slap it rather than scratch and it really worked. I've also got one of those wrap around wine coolers that you freeze. I used that to cool the area which stopped the itching for quite a while. Hope that will help both of you too.

Beenie. I really feel for you but I fear that his 'getting you help' is a further way of trying to make you take the blame for his failings. Read back through your posts and imagine it is me saying everything you have and asking for your advice. What would you tell me to do? I often find that this is a good way of looking at a situation objectively and removing the me/I feelings from it makes things much clearer.

Ah Tigster, thank you. That is a lovely offer. I'm down in Somerset.

I have come round to the idea of going on my own now though. I've given it quite a bit of thought today and since it will only ever be me and bubs, why should I involve someone else in such a special moment. Especially someone who clearly doesn't appreciate it.

I have called my other mate just to make sure that it is Monday she is on hol, just in case I got it wrong and she would like to come and she's not answered me either. I might be very wrong and they have gone today. She doesn't need me to feed her cats this time as her parents are doing it so I didn't take as much notice as I normally would have.

We were supposed to be doing a car boot tomorrow (which is why I thought hol was monday) but when I asked her about it last week she said she wasn't sure she wanted to do it anymore and would let me know next day. I've not heard anything so I could have got it wrong about the holiday. Anyway, unless she lets me know by tonight, dad is coming tomorrow to put the nursery furniture together whilst me and mum supervise. I thought I'd cook dinner as a thank you. I normally do him a roast as he's quite fussy, but thinking about a bbq and salad since weather is so gorgeous. Hope the topless men have gone by then otherwise I might get distracted and burn the chicken, lol.

Somerset is too far from me, alas! Otherwise I'd willingly accompany you, just so you don't feel a berk sitting there going "ooooh" and "aaaaah" on your own :D

You could always pre-roast the chicken and then let it cool down, serve it cold with salad?
