Sorry for the stupid questions!
Just pick one up in store and use it you can register online or by post later and any accumulated points will be waiting for you. Next statement and voucher distribution for me is 1 May not sure if they do all at once.
There don't seem to be any in Cardiff area anyone found any in South Wales?0 -
Hum, suprise suprise, they dont have any in stock at Ipswich :S So much for they might have one in by today
Called all the stores in my local area, the nearest one with an iPod shuffle is a whole 60 miles away. Now its not quite £7 is it0 -
Hi,
Off track ,but i have got hold of my mums cc vouchers and want to change them into deals(preferably airmiles) to use them. Im not sure how possibile this is and what to do. I know that the vouchers are automatically attributed to your airmiles account right?...so it might be a problem as the vouchers wont be in my name. But then again i heard tokens that are sent out to you are nameless?? Any ideas or advice on what do do, and how would be greatly appreciated!! As im clueless...also your opionions on "is it good value, changing them to airmiles"? would be good.
Also, i have phoned tesco, they have none in my store. They are expecting a delivery from the supplier. They said it is very likely they will re-stock shuffles before the end of the offer. I just hope they are all not swiped away quickly!!0 -
After trawling lots of Tesco stores by phone I found one 512mb ipod shuffle priced as you said at just shy of £49 that was put aside for me. I checked over the phone that the 999 extra points offer was still available and they said yes. However, when I went in to collect it they said the points offer is only valid on a different model with a smaller memory. How come? Can anyone help?0

Tesco have tightened up a lot on using other members vouchers and I think you will find if you present your Mum's vouchers they will want to assign them to her airmiles a/c and if she doesn't have one they will start one for her. The way round this is to convert her vouchers to airmiles and then book a holiday using her airmiles. This can be done either by her booking the holiday/flights for you (I have done this for a relative using my airmiles) or alternatively being present when you are booking the holiday to give her permission to use her airmiles. (I have also done it this way by combining points from two accounts). I would also be interested in hearing if anyone has found a more elegant way of doing this as my relative still owes me some airmiles!
In fact I don't think Tesco to airmiles present good value unless they are doing a promotion or you use the minimum airmiles option on say flights. We tend to use the Tesco vouchers for days out e.g. Alton Towers.
Hope this helps.0 -
Lighten up tristan727!
Sorry if I offended you: it was meant to be light hearted, and if they had sought to cancel my 1047 points when re-imbursing my money I would have made no complaint.
But I do find it objectionable that so many shops effectively do their stock taking in the customers' time, and if even this highly computerised system does not result in them knowing what they have got in stock, then I have no sympathy for the stores.
Remember folks, you are obliged to pay for your purchases, but if you are paying cash and are not bothered about having a receipt of loyalty points, you are not obliged to hang around if the shop has insufficient or inefficient staff.0 -

Look out: tristan727 will be on your case!0 -
Shuffles are also out of stock in Watford, but they did have the Nanos. The same deal applies, so you get a £109 1GB Nano for an effective price of less than £65, which is still a fab deal.
To lilaliboo 1, I would say that you were told wrong - you do get the points on all the iPods. There is no iPod with less memory than that. Why not buy it, then check your receipt? If it does not show the 999 points, take it for an immediate refund.koru0 -
