Just seen this is on the weekly email - don't get fobbed off by Tescos - there are NO signs up anywhere about this offer. I went yesterday and was told by two separate staff on electrical that the points offer had finished. Not convinced (I'd bought one Saturday and had points) I went to customer service who said she would check with the lady from electrical - I said she would just say it wasn't as I'd already asked. CS put the transaction through on "training mode" and confirmed that the 999 extra points offer was still on.

Edit - just noticed this is in the Gone board?? Can it be moved back to Grabbit??

In case it saves anyone a trip, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Swindon branches don't have them in stock (these are all superstores). My nearest branch is Bristol, and that's a 3/4 hour drive away. I'm now umming and ahhing as to whether it's worth a special trip!

We visited a lot of the stores around Oxon and Berks to be told same story - yes offer was on but out of stock - No more stock likely till the offer ends - nice!

Hi, I have been reading this thread and wonder whether a Tesco staff contributor can tell us if one of their 'raincheck vouchers' could be issued for the 999 points offer, ready to claim when later buying an Ipod Shuffle?

I'm not sure if it would apply to the out of stock Ipod Shuffles, but I know you can ask CS for a raincheck voucher for 'bogofs' where there is only one item left. Then you go back later to collect your free item (even after the offer has finished). You have to ask though!

Would appreciate a Tesco reply as I'm hoping this may help someone if it works!:rolleyes:
