IPod shuffle for £7.09 sort of.

I have just been to Tesco Extra in Wrexham, the 999 points are labelled when you buy any Apple Ipod but the cheapest Ipod is £68.98.

Asked at the customer service and they claimed that was the cheapest Ipod they had. Also stated that stores had different pricing policies.

Any suggestions as its the only Tesco Extra within 30 miles ?

I think the £68 is for the 1Gb ipod shuffle - it's the 512MB thats the £49. Might be worth phoning some non-Extra stores as I *think* my local non-extra does some ipods along with the phones.

I need to get breakdown cover before the 27th April. Is it possible to convert the tesco points immediately or do i have to wait for the tesco vouchers to come through the door.....to get RAC breakdown cover

Wading into the whole points conversion debate, I think it's down to what you need them for. I personally attribute more value to the AirMiles because I don't really need most of the other deals, and have family and friends overseas. Can I also say that AirMiles can be spent on a range of things not just flights. You can also use them I believe amongst other things for booking hotel rooms, which is often better financially compared to buying flights. :money:

In my tesco(ayr) they had no ipod shuffles left...it said temporary unavailiable. Do you think they are likely to come back in stock before this offer expires? Can i phone up my tescos and ask?????????????????????????????

I have just phoned my local Tescos, none appear to have any in stock but some might be in tomorrow apparently (although the second person i spoke to said that this is very unreliable, and they probably wont, so i will not get my hopes up )
