Hey Johanne - why dont you come to the meet in Blackpool now your young free and single? Sounds like you have exactly the right attitude and as you say your only 20 so why settle down yet? Good luck with the job hunting and hope you find something you really enjoy.

TM - Another bag!!! you'll be catching up soon;)

Well been at w**k today so my SC has had a day off and enjoyed a relax and a long sauna in the DW!!:D
As for me I had a meeting in Derby but it happened to be with a large supermarket who also happened to have a 20% off clothes day and my customer happened to be late for our meet so i happened to find a lovely suede jacket for a very very good price:D I blame the customer entirely and will have to add to the bill!!
Looking forward to a bit of a chill this weekend but i have to w**k for a bit tomorrow which is a bit naff but hey ho. I need to visit my ma and pa with some soup from yesterdays sc day cos i now have no room in the freezer!!

Hugs to all who need one and hugs to those who dont too:j

    Hello
All of yesterday was spent in potting on tomatoes etc into bigger pots. I never thought it would take so long but at least it is done.
Today we went into town to blow away a few cobwebbs as it gets a bit boring just hanging around the house all day.
DD found a book she wanted to read ,in a charity shop for 20p and I found 15 big flower pots for when I have to do the next lot of potting on, for only £1.
At home I made some more easter eggs and now have only 2 and 1/2 left to make.
Breakfast was HM toast and marmite
Lunch was Tuna and melted cheese on HM bread
Tea was creamy fish Pie with carrots and home grown spinache

    Evening all
Well today didn't go as planned, lunch was cancelled as my friends DD was not well. So I made a couple of cottage pies for the freezer & made some extra loaves.
I finished a pair of mittens I was knitting & have now started another scarf, this one is on a circular needle, which is causing some problems, still, I'll master it, or die trying, lol.

Also had flying visit from DD2 & DGS, seems they got in the car to go shopping & DGS said 'see my Nana?' DD2 said 'No, we're going shopping' so DGS said 'see my Nana peeeezs' DD2 said she didn't have the heart to refuse him so they popped in to see me.
We were meant to be having a lie in tomorrow, but hubby has decided to work now, that's the problem with being self employed, if you don't work, you don't get paid! Still hopefully we will have a lie in on Saturday.
Hope everone has a good evening.

Mrs TM, I also had/have(!!??) an addiction to handbags and have had since I was about 7! I loved watching Cagney and Lacey to see which handbags they were using!
I recently E-bayed lots of mine, and sent some to the charity shop, so I can now buy a lot more!!!
I have actually been really good since I started reading OS cos I have only bought one bag a month for the last 3 months!
Still, they are hard to resist, and when no clothes in the shop fit or make you look good, there'll always be a handbag to fit!!!!

    Evening everyone.
Shattered having been woken at 6.10 by ds1 shouting at me and in need of a bath (him not me) slowly emerged after bathing him at 6.15, did my nails - a not very OS bright pink! Had to do something for myself. Had a big declutter before going downstairs, home grown egg sandwich for ds1, mango, banana and kiwi for me (Im sort of following a healthy eating plan...) I wasnt unhealthy i just want to be MORE healthy.
Continued with a bit of a declutter whilst it took both sons over hour and a half to get dressed/shoes on. Got one bag for the charity shop and one for ebay. Need the money so the ebay one is bigger;)
Went on the bus to the station only bcos we were late, else we'd have walked. We did get the crotchety OS bus which is rattly, noisy and a lot cheaper!
Had lunch with OH and his colleagues in the town where he works, big fat rare steak which was cooked really well. I must admit since OS looking at a restaurant menu rarely has the same appeal. Wine lists are still ok though LOL.
Spending spree in the pound shop, and Dunnes (new shoes for ds's £4 each and trousers for me £1)
Snooze in oh's car on the way home :)
Cooked thai chicken and aubergine and lemon rice.
Watched Doctor who with ds's. Oh is out doing a focus group interview, he's getting a v. generous reward for taking part. Clearly my voucher saving habits are rubbing off on him;)
Made laundry gloop - lemon and vanilla, its lovely, smells like a cake.
Planning to collapse in a old style heap soon, glass of wine from Aldi.
AAH ds2 just asked to go to bed. He read his own story last night, and when i asked if i should read to him he said 'well I will grow up you know mummy'
Got a list in my head of more things to do but i think in reality thats enough for one day.

    Evening all,

Well its good to be back. Arrived home from the coast on tuesday night and since then been catching up on the washing & ironing, plus its taken me nearly two days to catch up on here

Had a super few days away, weather could have been better but we still managed to get out on the bikes everyday. By sunday I could hardly move my legs so we had a day of rest and went to the pub for sunday lunch instead. :D played loads of board games with the kids and spent some really good quality time together. It was lovely.

Anyway its getting late now and my bed is calling, catch you all in the morning, night night, sleep tight,

    Ice x

Happy Easter to me!!! Sorry to be so selfish, but the neighbours with the cheeky brat (as referred to in my earlier post) rolled up with a caravan tonight, quickly dumped a load of suitcases in it and drove off into the sunset. Yippee!! Peace and quiet for Easter :j:j:j

However I went out the back earlier and there are three planks loosened from the back fence - I can't say it was that brat as I didn't actually notice them loose yesterday...but I doubt that they loosened themselves....grrrrrr!!!!!!! The builders had been here a while ago and "childproofed" the fence - seemed to have worked. I'll be out there with my hammer tomorrow after w***. Eeek, I said w***...major apologies to those already on Easter holidays!!

Had an okish day today, didnt feel like doing much, feel abit in a tiz, suppose you do sometimes and you just have to go with the flow, then other days your v.organised and doing lots. DD has now got a temperature and not feeling well at all, so doesnt look like good friday day out is on the cards? we will see.

No virgin wine delivered, sent v.angry email to them, they are saying they delivered again (but no way), just getting my case together to take my complain further - they then phoned me - not gonna go into the details, but they said they would try and deliver another case next week now. Have said I would leave it until next week, if still no luck then will take complaint further.

There is something not quite right about all of this, I cant put my finger on it, but doesnt seem right. I know I have definately not received any wine and they definately havent been here, like they say they have. So either virgin are fibbin or their courier is? either way, I'm the one whose out of pocket for 2 weeks now.

Sorry to go on, not going to think about this over easter, put it away till next week.

On a good note - got DS laptop delivered today (some companies do manage it!) very pleased and that it came so quickly.

Also whilst taking DS to various tesco's to get Ipod Station, I managed to get a box of the Tesco Finest Cutlery reduced to half price! great especially as its not reduced in all of the stores! also got the littleuns a microphone reduced to £2.97, now further reduced to 97p!!! bargain. :)

noticing all your mentions about ebay, Ive got a few things I really want to shift (double buggys) - I really must get organised and sell them on ebay, but i think im abit worried about going about it - is it quite easy?

Hope everyone has a lovely and peaceful easter.

    xxx
