Morning!
Its nice to be awake early and not having to work. I did loads of cleaning up last night but ive still got plenty to do today, and its loads of organising tasks, like throwing away things that seem to collect (im a bit of a hoarder) like batteries that are dead, filing paperwork and storing stuff we dont need in the attic.
Eventually I intend to do a car boot sale as ive got a lot of stuff I dont need or want and im sure they are worth some money. I think ill sort it all out after my exam in May though as Ive really got to get on with some studying first!
Tomorrow im at a self defence class all day with a few of my colleagues from work - its been organised by one of the guys we work with as he does some kind of fighting with a trainer who also does self defence classes for women. Its an all day seminar type thing so im looking forward to that - im hoping I enjoy it so much it inspires me to take up some excercise of some description as im not losing any weight!
It also means that ive only got today to get organised for next week so ive got plenty to be getting on with. At least its only a 4 day week next week! Im going to use the Friday to do some revision that I really need to start.
Anyway, im waffling as I dont really have much to say so im off to finish my tea then take a shower!

Yeah its Saturday!!!!
Well am up very early for a saturday - in fact have been up early all week even though its the holidays - I just know on the first day back at school it will be a nightmare trying to get up.
Anyway have put washing in, emptied DW and so far cleaned main bathroom. Am gonna attempt to clean kids toyroom and shower room (its a bit scary in there) have a shower myself then head off to Morrisons or Asdas for a few bits for the weekend as off to our holiday home late this afternoon.
To be truthful not looking forward to it much - it looks like it has been raining here most of the night and its quite chilly and have so much to do at home at the moment but I hope its one of those things that you dont look forward to then enjoy more than normal iykwim.
Anyway must get on, am tempted to look at rest of boards as wont get back on till mon eve but instead am gonna bleach a toilet - joy!!
Have a loverly weekend0 -
Morning all
Just a quick post because I'm off for a day of serious retail therapy with a friend in a bit :j
Glad to see you back FFHope DD has a fab party too, PP. Remember, that party must be over by.... say, Wednesday?
Was just coming on PC to sort printer out - Mr TM managed to bu99er it up last night. I think I've found the problem - 2 new cartridges in the bin and the old one back in again :rotfl: And he tells me he's so technically minded
So, I've had my porridge. Lunch will be out, Tea? Don't know where I'll be, or what time I'll get homeWill I even be able to afford to eat??
(((hugs))) to all in need. Go for it Jo - you might really enjoy self-defence. (I've tried 2 different martial arts in the past, but they aren't for me)
Ok - off to jump in the shower
Catch ya later

Good morning everyone,
PP - hope DD has a good party,
FF - wondered where you were!!! Glad you had a lovely holiday!!!
JulieD and Pollys - the joy of teenagers!!!! How im looking forward to that!!!!
Well, it is absolutly beautiful here today, blue skies and lovley sunshine!!! Makes you feel so much better. Mind you, im sure it is freezing out there, and DS has football this morning, but that is all that we have planned. Must pop down to the local bookies for our annual bet on the grand national, DS and DD love to pick a horse, and if we win anything (last year DS picked the horse that won) we treat ourselves to fish and chips!!! Must admit, i hate the race, i think it can be so cruel, but it is compulsive and having a bet on it has been a type of ritual for many years, well, since i LOOKED old enough to go in a bookies, and the tradition has stuck!!! How i wish i didnt look old enough to go in a bookies now!!!!
Apart from that, i think its cleaning upstairs, normally a sunday job but going to a friends for lunch and a bottle of wine, (she now lives walking distance from my house HURRAH) so something else to look forward too.
Hope everyone has a lovely day, and the sun is shining where you are,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0
