We're out for dinner tonight at the local, it's friends birthday so there's 17 of us meeting for dinner then other friends have a gig there so should be a good night. Morning!
TFI FRIDAY!!!! Yippee!
The bank still havent put the cheque in my account that I put in the cash machine last week so today I need to call them and rant. I also need to call telewest and sort out that account. If they mess me around I may well be reducing my package severely as they do pretty well out of me.
Im finishing work at 4pm today which im pleased about and am not working tomorrow either!!I plan to spend the weekend sorting out the tip of the house as boyf has done nothing this week following a massive argument we had tuesday, which ironically, we argued about the same issue but different circumstances last week. Basically - his irresponsibility and childishness is driving me up the wall and im not happy.
My mp3 player has also developed a fault this week by continually turning itself off and restarting which is highly annoying - I need to contact Next as I bought it from them and organise a return - which means a trip into the loft to locate the box etc!
Work has been busy this week due to the end of the financial year and my new role started this week so ive been really learning a lot, and have actually really enjoyed it. The days seem to go so much quicker so its all good. I also get some new responsibilities starting next week which im sure will be interesting in some way or another.
Anyway, id better go get ready! Have a lovely day all!

Morning all :hello:
Sorry I haven't posted for a few days. I was at my parents' house and whenever I tried to post (they have dial-up), either the web page seized up or my dad decided he needed to use the phone! I'm trying to encourage them to get broadband...........
PP - I hope that you're feeling a little better later. Your DD will be the envy of all her friends - maybe she could become a party planner (with a little help from her mum).
Exercises already? Are you lot trying to kill me? :rotfl: I've just managed to put the WM on and had my branflakes. I've still got my tea to drink -arm exercises, I call them
My time at home/parents was quite successful. I've booked a hair appointment for my wedding day and we ordered flowers too. The first florist we went into was SO unhelpful. The woman who did bouquets wasn't in and the assistant in the shop couldn't give us a guideline of price, when she'd be in or anything. Luckily, another assistant popped her head round the door from the back and took our details. This was on Tuesday and I haven't received any phone call yet.................. The second florist shop was SO different. They had a guideline of prices, photos of previous bouquets, listened to what I wanted, suggested things that look nice together........ so my mum and I decided that 20 mins after we left the shop that we'd go back and book her then and there!
My gran is still going down hill, memory wise. I popped in to see her yesterday morning - still lives by herself - and had to repeat myself 3 times. She liked my handbag (3 times), how was OH (twice), when was my wedding (3 times). It's not very nice and it really upsets me.She used to be a really ardent churchgoer, but now invariably feels "too ill" to go. My dad has persuaded the vicar that instead of reading my banns 3 times within the group of churches, he will read them all 3 times in the village church on the 1st Sunday of each month. This is so that my dad can get my gran out of the door and entice her into church because she'll hear my banns being read!
Sorry, I've gone on far too much.
See you folks later
Vicky

Well she's gone:j till tomorrow morning.......
Happy Birthday cha97michelle!!!
WM already on and weather is dry so far. Another 2 loads to do after this one:rolleyes: DD is still in bed:eek: probably getting her beauty sleep in for the party;)
Anyway, cleaner will be here soon and need DD to have a quick bath before she does upstairs later and has already been run.
Thinking of sending OH to Tescos to buy up 4 fresh chickens on BOGOF as I feel with this break out of bird flu in Scotland that chicken prices will rise all over the UK quickly. OH popped to Asda yesterday between hopital and picked up some lamb which is half price ATM and some for stewing that was reduced.
Have a good day guys and will be back on later.
Hugs
PP
