    Morning all,

Rain, wind and cold this morning so will be spending much of it in doors.

DS breaks up from school for easter today and DD tomorrow so O/H has decided for us to get away to the caravan (east coast) for a few days from saturday till tuesday which will be great so need to do some baking and sorting out some easy food for us to take. Loads of fresh air is in order, and we have a set of bikes already there so the car gets park up and won't be used till we have to come home, really looking forward to spending some quality time together as a family which doesn't happen enough due to O/H being self employed and working every hour available.

Brekkie Crumpets & fresh orange juice
    Lunch: Egg mayo sarnies
Dinner: Chicken pie veg & mash

Have a lovely day all, will try & catch up later

    Take care

    Good morning everybody! :j
Good luck today P.P.hope all goes well.
What are you studying Snowy Owl? Sometimes it is easier to read books in the middle of the night when it is nice and peaceful. ;)
DS1 woke me up at 7:15 this morning, and he doesn't usually wake up till 8:30! And I will probably still be rushing about to get him to playgroup for 9.00!
have to go and apply for M.O.T. today and pay some visa bills which don't seem to be getting any smaller.
Also have to change all the beds and do a clean about, though I'll probably end up sitting on the cuter (DS1's name for a computer) in between!
    Breakfast:kids=pancakes and jam,me=maybe I can manage without?
    Lunch:cheese and ham toasties,and strawberries
Dinner:have to have a wee neb in the freezer!

Have a good day all!!!!! :j

    Good Morning All

Just sitting here with my tea and thought would get on here early today.

Weather - looks overcast - hopefully that means it will feel a bit warmer than ystrday.
Plan of action as soon as I finish this message I WILL NOT look at any more MSE until this evening but IWILL put my gammon in slow cooker, shower then start my mountain of ironing. (Hopefully wont take too long as I have an ironing press)

Then off to a small town with my sister and all the children. Need a couple of bits then we are heading to a large park, gonna get a couple of bags of chips for lunch then going to let children play until they are fed up.

    B-prob toast
    L-chips
    D-gammon roast potatoes & veg.

Well must be off - hopefully will fit in some housework today also - it really needs it.

    Have a brill day.

Morning All! sun is shining here in london!

Should stay that way for today here. Kids washed down their slide, toys in the garden yesterday, I cut the grass (1st cut, summer must be coming). Thought about buying the kids one of those little garden swings in wilkinsons for £25, they look so cute! but they also had a wooden park style bench yesterday for £19 both nice.

Was going to look at the budget planner today on this site, does anyone else use it - or would like to here what everyone else does for tips? I did notice the notebook suggestion yesterday which sounds good, but do people think a spreadsheet is better?

Breakfast will be toast - got 2 loaves of Allinson bread for £1 in asda yesterday, either sunflower/wholemeal. Off to make OH sandwiches and watch Dora the Explora!

Have a great day all, best wishes and hugs to all who need it today!

    Good morning everone,

PP - hope all goes well at the hospital today, and hope OH and DD had a lovely day yesterday.

Queenie - good luck this morning with the doctor lottery, really hope you get an appointment today x

Snowy - hope w**k goes ok, only two days til the weekend now!!!!

MATH - our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time xx

Well, WM is on already here, but it looks a lovely day again outside, so hoping to get it all hung up outside today, will be nice not having the airer taking up all the room in the kitchen!!!!
Not too much planned today, going to do some easter pictures with the 2 little ones that are here, and need to pop into Waitrose on the way back from the school run to pick up some milk, and i think i need one more easter egg, so will see what they have there (Asda and Tesco last night had nothing!!!!) Had tried to get the easter egg making kits in Asda yesterday, but they didnt have any, and wernt sure if they were going to get anymore, which was a shame, i think DS and DD wouldve loved to have had a go at that!!! Never mind, yesterday we had the annual mad scramble to make something for todays easter parade, DD re made last years hat (does look different, just the same base) and DS has painted an egg, hes done I K Brunel and the Saltash railway bridge as its his 200th birthday or something coming up, and he (Brunel) is a big thing here in Saltash, so very topical!!!! Will be going to the school early to watch the parade, so fingers crossed the little ones behave, and dont try to run around the hall while the children are parading through!!!!
Hope everyone has a lovely day
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Good morning all,

Another non OS day for me because of the demands of "the four-letter word" (I like that SnowyOwl icon7.gif) . Have made sandwich with HM bread to take with me for lunch though, so all is not lost.

Good luck to all with hospital/doctors appointments, hope all the littlies are well this morning and in good spirits. Hugs to all.
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

    Good Morning all
Bright & sunny here today, but still had to scrape the ice off the car this morning. I've taken hubby to work & have to work 9 till 12 today. After work I'm meeting a friend for lunch, not very OS as we will have a coffee & bagle in a bookshop near where she works. Still we only meet once every 6 weeks & near where we meet there is a charity book shop, so I'm going to try & get a couple of books for hubby to read over Easter.
I finally managed to get my rabbit hutch cleaned out yesterday but now have to go & buy more sawdust ready for next week.

    Breakfast cereal
    Lunch coffee & bagel
Tea the chicken we didn't eat last night as I did gammon new pots & parsley sauce instead.
    Hugs to everyone.

I'm up & dressed bright & early - the builders will be here in a minute so I don't want them to catch me half dressed (or ironing a shirt in my bra, which often happens!). I can't put the DW or WM on cos they'll be turning the water off & no point cleaning up cos they'll be making a mess.
I'm going to make a greek salad for my lunch & haven't a clue what's for dinner. We've had chicken in various guises all week, so time for something else!
Have a lovely day peeps, I'll be back in later after I've been to work. H&S audit to do today - yawn-a-rama!

    Morning all
I don't usually post so early but I've been up for hours cursing the pains.
Going to Aldi to try and get some of the salmon which is on offer, if I can prise my bum off this chair.
PP hope all goes well at the hospital, thinking of you.
MATH thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
Queenie hope you get your appointment.
Hugs and good thoughts to everyone else.
    Have a nice day all.

    Morning all

Bright and breezy here again this morning, looks chilly though.

Got loads done in the garden yesterday but boy am I paying for it this morning, muscles I didn't know even existed are screaming at me......oh well!

Ordered DD2's birthday pressie yesterday - a 10ft trampoline :j with the safety netting and a cover, cost £169 but all the family are chipping in, not her birthday until the end of May but we thought it best to get it ordered, made up and useable as soon as possible. It's strong enough for adults too - so if you see a woman wandering around kent with 2 black eyes - you'll know why! :rotfl:

Only one little one here this afternoon, I'm sure we'll get a trip to the park.

BM needs filling, WM is doing it's stuff, ironing still to do.

    Brekkie - Toast, cereal
    Lunch - HM rolls
    Dinner - Something with sausages

Hope you all have a great day.
