Morning all - lovely day here. DD is downstairs playing on the xbox, and DH is still in bed :rolleyes:

Just about to jump in the bath and start the day

Haven't got much else to say, except where is MATH and why is this thread getting shorter and shorter (or is that just me )

Got to go to w**k though! JW, you got me disguising the 'word' now, lol!!!

Will be money saving today as DH is home so shall send him shopping!

Hes going birthday pressie shopping for me. Aparently he's going via Ann Summers :eek: I would rather books. They are my luxery (Sp?!) that I don't get to buy. I do go to the library, but its not the same!

I'm going to get him to take me out for diner tonight as well! We'll have to take the kids, but what the hell, saves me cooking & its HIS money!

breakfast: ceareal (in my belly now!)

lunch: in work so am taking grapes & shall eat the cakes there that peeps bring in

Dinner: out!

somo1 - An early morning bath on a beautiful Spring morning is a great way to start the bank holiday weekend - enjoy!

manicdays - hopefully your dh will combine his desire to buy you something from Ann Summers with your love of books ... I hear they sell books there too Have a lovely meal out tonight!!! :j

Replacement card arrived so I can re-order the coop and will finally get my chicken after the coop arrives on the 10th :j :j :j Went over to see the hens after school yesterday, I wasn't too sure how the boys would react to them but I had been reading through a book with them and explaining how to care for her. (The cleaning out bit wasn't exactly "appealing" to them :laugh: ) . I needn't have worried at all, d10yo, who I thought would be most wary of all, was the first to pick up our hen-to-be and a few of the others besides!!! He has re-named our chook, Silky, because that is how he says she feels, aww!

Also, was given a rabbit for the freezer so I shall be digging out my mothers old recipe book and adapting a recipe for the SC - last rabbit was a bit tough after I roasted it so I think it's best cooked in the SC after all

D11yo is off to spend the day with one of his mates so I haven't really planned anything OS today, much depends on d10yo. Do need to get any gaps under our fencing blocked up for when Silky arrives, so she can enjoy the luxury of roaming the garden (ex-battery hen). I fear I'm in danger of going from a chicken-virgin-to-hen-bore so I'll end here

Just had my All bran pedometer freebie with some bits I won on ebay (tops for DD's for 99p each)...nice start to the morning.

Off to pizza hut for lunch thanks to a freebie voucher and to the market for veg......DH has to go to work for a few hours this morning - he's still snoring away at the moment though.

Brekkie - Cereal/Toast
Lunch - Pizza hut
Dinner - Chicken fajhitas

Today I am supposed to be out celebrating my anniversay with DH, but one of the babysitters cried off (tried to get kids to sleep over so we have night free) - trying to rearrange for sunday, if not, will just have to make the most of it today and maybe just go for lunch somewhere.

apart from that nothing else planned just yet.
