johanne - i think you need to put your health first for a while. perhaps you should move back with family and get your own place when you are back on your feet. take it easy without any financial commitments of having your own place and try to build up your resistance to stress by perhaps volunteering in a charity shop when you feel better. take care x:love: married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090

Morning everyone!
Am very glad not to be one starting today's thread...I get a bit embarrassed sometimes...
So, I haven't been to bed yet, have been doing a stupid essay - yes, that one I was given six weeks ago, and suddenly it's due in today. Me own stupid fault for putting it off and putting it off. I have that strange feeling where the eyes feel like they are out on stalks due to tiredness, but I also feel really lively. Don't worry I'm not going to get my Stardrops out and start cleaning, will get into bed and just lie there worrying that I'll accidentally oversleep in the morning and be late for work...:o
FirstClassMale - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! - and welcome to Old Style. You really don't have to be a regular to post on here, everyone is welcome whether they post once a day or once a month or somewhere around those parameters. It's good to get a man's perspective on things too -- hope you don't mind lots of women brandishing microfibre cloths and recipes for the slow cooker.
Not much has happened in my little life since my last post, so will love you and leave you. Hopefully I'll be having a "snoretastic" time in about five minutes from now.
Bye!

Morning all.. ive got up as there are a hundred and 1 things going through my head at the moment lol.. buyer pulled out of our house but then wanted it again, sent me a email with a list of complaints on the house and then wanted to drop the price 10k lol house is 90 yrs old and in need of decoration which he said was ok but now seems like he hung me on for months blaming my solicitor on things only to try and drop the price.. told him no thank you and will do decor to spruce up the house then put it back on the open market.. luckily i dont have to sell to move as moving in with other half so can sell the house empty.
took dd for a free pizza last night thanks to the sun as we had a pre sats meeting and her teacher has said she has upped her average by abt 23% and im putting that down to all the help that VICKYA has been giving her, one to one has certainly helped her calm down and concentrate and that not all teachers are horrible lol oh and dd thinks im brill for getting her a pizza lol.
as soon as dd off to school im starting the painting as im away at the weekend so want to get started on the house before putting it back on the market.
Im not going to get to stressed abt the sale falling through just be glad when its finalised and my new life starts in aylesbury.
The good thing abt the sale falling through is that my ex hubby and i are actually being nice to each other, we both got fed up with all the messing around and now realise that we both want to sell but can help people if they dont want to be helped so onto the next buyer lol..
so have a nice day everyone and dont let all the stresses of everyday life get you down. Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
Are thinking of you today.0 -
Morning all!
Chardonnay - yeah, I will be careful! I just want to wake up on the weekends and take my cup of tea back to bed with me instead of springing out of bed to start cleaning, I just need to learn to relax a bit more and want the bed to be a relaxation haven where I do nothing but chill etc! Ive been having panic attacks in bed on the odd occasion and dont want to be scared of the bed really.
Snowy - I also understand where you are coming from essay wise, during my entire degree I would leave essays until the very last minute and invariably hand them in late. I didnt really get on too well with education - I enjoyed being a student and can learn things eaily enough, I just dont have the motivation needed. If I ever go back to college or anything it will be something practical and be for fun, like sewing machine skills or something!
I used to do the OU too, I did DD100 social science which I found really interesting, then W200 Law, which was possibly a wrong direction. I really enjoyed the law with the OU - but proper law at uni was another kettle of fish. I should have transferred on to the archaeology programme as soon as I got there and I would have done so much better.
Happy Birthday FirstClassMale! I hope your OH's finger is feeling better soon - and you are always wecome to post on here! I agree its nice to have some fella's on here, we could do with some more!
I woke up mega early this morning! I fell asleep on the sofa at around 9.30pm and then boyf sent me to bed at midnight, and now im awake. To be honest, im quite glad - its lovely to have some peace and quiet in the world!
SO - today is the day of the new bed delivery which im super excited about, and my lovely new bedside lamp will be delivered too. As soon as I get home from work ill be building it and sorting the room out! :T :j The mattress is due in the morning and the bed frame in the afternoon, the lamp at any point, so boyf is under strict instructions that he needs to be awake all day, so I told him im going to roll him off the mattress and take it away, and then force him to sit near the door all day. Any mess ups by him today will be greeted with severe disapproval and one massive argument.
Just been on to the online banking and for some reason, Swalec have taken a massive amount instead of the usual dd of £12, so I might have to make an annoyed phone call today to get it back as its not in the budget to take £80 - I could cover it but then it wipes out my entire emergency cash fund and means that the month will be very tight. I think ill have a contemplate on whether I should call up or not.
Aside from that, not much else to say really so Ill go and have a browse and another cuppa tea.
Have a lovely day all!#KiamaHouse0 -
Good morning everyone - just looking for some company!
I'm not really having an OS day, I've woken up mega early and cannot get back to sleep. I need to wait for OH's alarm to go off before I can get up properly as he needs his kip - didn't get in from work until after 11 last night (having started at 7am)
JW - new bed mmmmmmm - lovely
FirstClassMale - happy birthday! If the presents aren't wrapped, that's very OS as it doesn't generate unnecessary waste
Jockett - good luck with house - hope all works out!
Snowy - I was the same with my essays when I was studying and so is probably about 2/3 of the student population - don't beat yourself up about it!
Racking my brains for an OS excuse for having posted - still nothing, but I hope no-one minds!
Have a good day all....

Just checked my online banking and noticed that TalkTalk have not taken their DD yet - I changed to them last month and they told me my DD date would be 23th of month - I had asked for it to be 28th but they said it wouldnt be possible because of my billing period
