In need of advice please:
can anyone help me with advice on selling ebay/amazon? I see that some of you have experience in these matters. I'm abit scared to start - but have got some things to sell.
Or is the an indexed thread somewhere I can read?0 -
Happy Birthday Black Saturn.
Well, today has been eventful, if not entirely successful. DD started to potty train (3 successes, 2 accidents) ... DH left the country for a week this morning .... do you think he arranged it deliberately
Mowed the lawn this morning as the weather forecast for today .. was rain, rain and more rain ... whilst it was overcast this morning it was beautiful sunshine for the rest of the day.
Needless to say DD and I have not left the premises today .... and now I must go and find some material to make some kind of protector thing for the car seat.
I'm kinda scared of this whole thing, someone convince me it'll be AOK!!
OS wise - erm, did some washing, LOL.
Right, on with the motley!GC - March 2024 -0 -
The biggest advice I can give you on potty training is........... they will do it only when they're ready!! Lots of praise when they get it right, and ignoring it (and them) when they get it wrong. When i think back to when I potty trained DD it was soooo stressful at the time - but if I'd waited until SHE was ready it would have been a piece of cake. I know it's hard but let her guide you - good luck!!!
BTW 3 successes (I think I actually heard your cheers from oxfordshire)
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -
SnowyOwl wrote:Bargain Rzl...shame about Mr Boss Man shaving his hunky designer stubble off to reveal his very ordinary and not worth a second look bloke image. Maybe it will improve your concentration level? Is your Ms Boss Woman still on the other side of the Big Pond? Perhaps she'll lose her ticket or something and never come back?
Nah, she's back
I actually plucked up the courage to tell Mr Boss Man that he should grow his beard back againI said that some of us ladies had been discussing it in detail in the pub on Friday night (true!) and concluded that it made him look rugged
and he said that he thought he would have to grow it back anyway, because the most important woman in his life - his seven-year-old daughter - had been sulking ever since he shaved it off :rotfl:

hi peeps,
not been to bed yet so thought i'd start todays thread.
pp - sorry about the caravan- did you complain at the time? i'd definitely send a letter of complaint. we booked online for a week at pontins with the boys last summer and when they arrived they'd put us in two seperate rooms right next to each other but there was no adjoining door. we complained straight away and they changed us to adjoining rooms. not sure what the park will do but at least hopefully no one else will be so thoughtlessly placed and at best they'll give you another weekend. what if you hadn't taken your crutches?!!!!!!!!
jw - just watch your sleep pattern they say if you have sleep problems your bedroom should only be for sleeping and not for watching tv / reading etc.
tomorrow after sleep will be more diy, posting ebay parcels and listing more junk on ebay:love: married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090 -
I made a comment on the first "dated thread" sorry if I'm not a regular.
Well, my OH is asleep in bed and I am stuck downstairs after putting a coat of varnish on the stairs. Rather than watching it dry, I thought i would come on here for a while.
The decorators are coming to finish off an insurance job later and we have had a mad time trying to get the woodwork all stripped before they hang wallpaper. It is still far from finished but I can hardly get the sander going again at this time of night.
My log cabin saga rolls on, see the "vent thread" for more info but I think my naming and shaming of Shedstore.co.uk has fallen off page one of that so no luck there.
And what makes things extra special is that it is now my birthday but I dont think I will be getting my presents wrapped as my OH got a half inch splinter up into her fingernail earlier and is hardly able to use that finger.
Ok, off to check it's dry enough to go upstairs.0 -
Happy birthday firstClassMale :bdaycake:
I hope you managed to get upstairs.
