Morning everyone - just a quickie this morning. Need to get ready for work and feel a bit like Skystar -yawn.
No firm plans for today -other than a need to get my diet back on track after my 40th. Been taken out for 4 meals and have been made (and have eaten) 5 birthday cakes. Still one meal to go! Lots of exercise need I think.0 -
Morning!
A very fast post from me this morning - I woke up feeling pretty shattered, its definately a monday! And I have a 6 day week this week! Aargh!
At least im cutting the saturdays down to one a month, looking at the finances, it seems the boyf is going to be earning his fair share and we had a good chat last night - there is now a rota on the fridge and we each have two jobs to do a day, and we have one day a week each where we do more cleaning - so hopefully in future the division of labour will be a little more equal!
Im feeling a bit better than I did yesterday - I was a bit fed up with the world and chatting things through with boyf helped, practical things should hopefully become a bit easier soon and then I can spend a bit more time looking at things on the career front. Im certainly not enjoying work, it seems I need a less hectic environment with less customer dealings and less hours, with more money and mental stimulation. Talk about wanting the moon on a stick!
Anyhoo - off to work I go! Hope you all have a lovely day!

Morning all
LILLIBET hope spuds baptism went well and you all had a good time.
I have lots to be getting on with but feel realy rubish and down, we have been here 3 weeks and are still no where near finishing the lounge let alone started any of the other rooms. My housing officer is coming out this morning and I am hoping she will be able to help in some way, as nearly all the walls need skimmimg and the h/a are refusing to do it.
Need to wash up, grt some washing on the line and put the washer on. So lots to keep me busy, I might try and get the old wall paper off dds room and chuck a coat of paint on as I know that will be the easist room to do, as there is only one layer of wall paper and no paint.
Right better get off mr bum.
Hope you all have a good day
Hugs

Good morning everyone,
Well, back to normal today, DS and DD back to school, and 3 little ones here today, so will be busy, but hopefully they will all play nicely for me today, and if the rain stays away, i might attempt a walk outside later as well!!!!
WM is already on, and still have loads of sorting and putting away left over from the weekend. I love it when my mum comes down, but everywhere is always a big mess once she has gone, so thats my plan for today, to get the house up straight again!!!
Hope everyone has a good Monday
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Morning all
Dobie I had to laugh about you being afraid to start the thread, just get in there girl!!
ageandjo that is disgusting about the doctors, surely they can find an emergency appointment for him somewhere??
Freya I'll send my son up to see you - he's a whizz at plastering, he is 12 and eats like a horse so it could be a little expensive!!
JW I'm glad you got things sorted with your OH, hope you get a bit more rest now.
Shez There were a couple of stereos at the boot sale yesterday and I was soooo tempted
I have to get DD to school and then run down to pick up my mum and take her to her hospital appointment so that is my morning gone. I'm going to try and get a meal in the slow cooker first though as everyone is all over the place today and I don't fancy cooking different meals at different times.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Hi everyone.
Wow, it's been a hectic weekend in the house of chickadee. OH did the Flora London Marathon yesterday which meant getting up at silly-o'clock on Saturday to get a coach down to London, then going to register at the expo at the excel centre. I bought some new running shoes  but hopefully they will stop me getting blisters. Then yesterday we had to be up and out of the hotel by 7.15am on to our coach to the start. He finished in 3:06 so he was over the moon! Down-side was we only got home at 11.30pm last night, so we are both shattered (well, him more than me I suppose)
Fortunately I am off until Wednesday when I have to return to the dreaded w**k.
Nothing much OS going on here. I need to get busy today. I have two loads to go in WM. I need more bread so BM must go on too. I must tidy the house and do some ironing too, but I'll have a browse first!
Have a bright and cheerful OS day everyone!

Morning everyone:hello:
Absoutly shattered today but yesterday was perfect. Spud was a total angle & didn't cry or grisle once, was totally intrigued by the font bit:rolleyes: & was happily cuddled by everyone (although he is a flirt at the best of times & holds his arms out to strangers so wasn't suprised by this!)
The 7 bird roast was fantastic, even if I do say so myself:o, was totally worth getting up at 4am to cook it:shocked::rotfl:(I kid you not!)
Only problems were both hubby & I thought the other was taking photos so we haven't got any so will have to send out an SOS to everone else for some & we both forgot we'd got to drive home & had a bit too much wine
In answer to BargainRzl's question, yes we did choose the date deliberately! In fact, Hubby pulled out of the London marathon as he wanted it on St Geroges day!
Not too much sorting out today but a bit then hopefully an afternoon snooze if Spud'll let me! wish the weather would improve, got most of last week's washing to do & a bucket of nappies:p
Have a good day everyone & thanks for all your good wishes:wave:Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!0
