Excuse me, but I would just like to point out that this whole board is full of INDIVIDUALS expressing THEIR opinions, not everyone who is 'for' P&c spaces is behind insults to anyone who is 'anti' P&c and vice versa.
No-one but me speaks for me! And if I want to insult someone, be sure that I will personally do the insulting
As far as I'm aware, I have yet to insult anyone on this threadWorking hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Yet again the insults are coming from one side here, those who shalt not be questioned, the chosen ones, those who've managed to sucessfully sperm their way to worthiness.
And comments like 'your wife is a busy body', 'you are a busy body','Your child is unfortunate to have parents like you' are acceptable are they? The last one being highly personal and in my view far more offensive anything anyone else has written, on either 'side'0 -

Oh don't be such a bitter prole. You need to get on with your life. Move on. Forget about it. Treat yourself to a bacon and egg sandwich. Try getting out more. Learn to love life and your fellow man and be a lot less ANAL."There's no such thing as Macra. Macra do not exist."
"I could play all day in my Green Cathedral".
"The Centuries that divide me shall be undone."
"A dream? Really, Doctor. You'll be consulting the entrails of a sheep next. "0 -
I blame the babies and toddlers - they expect far too much from their parents / carers these days0

If thats what you want to do, maybe you should move to a third world country where there's no human rights.
You do understand that human right's don't just apply to mother and baby? They do also apply to Disabled people. Are you going to do the same to a disabled person if they complained about someone parking in a disabled bay?
The difference being that a disabled person needs to park near the store entrance as normally they have limited mobility. While child and mother places could be just as easy the other end of the car park. I think abled bodied people who take up disabled spaces should be excuted on the spot. Mother and babies spaces however should be at the other end of the car park where they would not be abused.0 -

but lets not execute them in the car-park, the "I'm a parent and I demand large parking spaces" brigade will be complaining their sprogs have got PTSD
I've just been thinking (it doesn't happen often) - I live in flat, we all have allocated spaces - those with car seats and buggies seem to manage okay with a standard size parking space so why should it be different at the supermarket?
It can't be anything to do with the trollies because from what I can make out it's the 'getting the kids in and out of car without hitting another car with the door' issue that people have.0 -

As you quite rightly point out, the problem isn't limited to supermarkets - it's a general problem, and one that, as far as I'm aware, only supermarkets so far have attempted to tackle - obviously because it's in their interests.
It would be useful to either have less bigger vehicles or more bigger spaces! However, I don't really see this happening on a wide-spread basis!
However, I don't see this issue as being THAT important, and I feel that I have now expended more than enough time on this thread, and so, with no further ado, I bid you all adieu (and I do hope that this much time and effort goes into rescuing the economy!)Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'
