I quite like the idea of 'a Homer' to describe these people, any other suggestions?

As long as Fox don't sue for defamation of character... :rotfl:

Expanding on Jenniferpa's TSFL theme, how about 'Lumens' - just not very bright, period

SOOLIN (Title TSFE= TOO STUPID FOR EBAY)

These people are, plain and simple, so shall we keep their title the same? Great name for them.

I have thought I loads of other titles, but I would not insult the less able.

Theses people are able, but TSFE

Feedback on eBay can be funny as we have all seen in this thread. But it has also taught me not to take it so seriously.

Still a pain in the you know what though. :o

I once read some where that one in ten people that you meet will have an IQ of 80 or less. If I come across a very stupid person I will say to my husband they're an 80!
  • A lad I used to work with used to call idiots like the TSFEs as Demmicks. Doesn't stand for anything, but within the company all the guys knew that a demmick was an inbred cretin with the IQ of a bread bin!

I need a rant!!!!

I had an 2 auctions finish yesterday, both won by someone in the USA. I clearly state that its paypal only from overseas. The combined weight comes in at 4 kilos and using Royalmails guide thats £40 airmail and £21 surface mail. ( it would have been £15 to the UK ) One auction said £16 to the USA and one just said email me for details ( cos it was so heavy )

Anyway i sent them an invoice and ive just had a reply that they are sending a cheque

And that my postage costs are stupid and they will pay no more than $3.99 for post. Yes $ not £

Ive replied and explained the weight, given them the links to Royalmail, and said if they know of a carrier local to me and easy to use im happy to use them instead. Ive tried to be as nice as possible but its not easy. Im only selling household ''junk'' where im trying to clear out and dont really want to be setting up accounts or things with DHL and the like.

AAAAARRRRGGGHH i can feel my first neg coming on!! But i do feel better now, thanks. And if anyone knows of a cheap carrier to the USA please let me know.

    Really annoyed!!!

Stated in my auction "I can ONLY accept paypal from funds currently in your account, NOT from Credit or Debit card as I do not have the facilities to receive such payments!!!"

So how does the bloke pay?? You guessed it!!! Through paypal on a Credit card!

E-mailed him 3 times to tell him I had refused it and to send again OR if he really wanted to pay on CC then he could pay the fee (extra 50p) and send it to my other account that can accept them.

He never gets my e-mails, e-mail address must be wrong.

And he's CRAP at answering messages through eBay too!!!

    HOW ANNOYING!!

Unfortunately if you had the 'I accept paypal' box ticked then you are at fault not the buyer and may want to reconsider how you deal with your buyer in light of the following:

Obviously if you had not ticked the I accept paypal box, then your buyer *is* the muppet and not you.

    :

    I'd be ranting too!

I am fed up of foreign buyers who really really don't have a clue, I even had an argument with a US buyer just before Christmas who refused to pay overseas postage as he insisted he was not overseas, he was American and *I* was the overseas one, so he wanted to pay a few dollars instead of the actual quoted cost on the auction. I ended up going through the NPB on him and then negging him.

Never knew that, still, they can obviously read so why not realise that me saying I don't accept CC/DC means I don't!

Ok, its against ebay's rules but thats a different matter!!!

I always new ebay were scum, that is a deliberate ploy so that people have to accept CC/DC which means that ebay can then charge people to receive money!!

Well i'll not be accepting paypal on any of my auctions any more!!!
