ive got the arris with another buyer right now, i mailed to ask if she received the goods and she replied yes, sorry i forgot to leave you feedback and will do it now and still hansdt. GRRRRRRRR. its not the whole feedback thing but it annoys me when ive bent over backwards to get items posted without delay and taken time in my packging (ive received some shockers myself). so this is person number 2 who has mailed back to say got the goods but still no feed back.
should add im the tw@ who sells gets payment and leaves feedback before the buyer does. There's someone in my head, but it's not me0

If I see a calm response, even an admittance of fault, as a reply to neg feedback. It doesn't stop me from buying from that person. If it is a angry and abusive remark, I delve further into their other feedback and think twice about how badly I need the product. Intelligent buyers understand that there will always be people who are not happy with you or factors out of your control can cause things to go wrong.God made man, man made money, money made man mad0

Asks that they get in touch if they have any problems at all before leaving f/b so he can sort them out. It only takes 1 idiot though to spoil it all. A while ago he sold a 7cm high bear. Was listed as 7cm. Buyer paid promptly so Hubby gave a pos and sent item. Then he received a neg from buyer saying, "Item arrived but smaller than expected" When hubby mailed him to ask what was going on he said he thought it was 7 inches.....not cm. He hadn't read auction properly. Buyer wouldn't remove feedback, he was happy with his pos. Now hubby doesn't leave feedback when selling until he knows the buyer is happy. Either by getting an e-mail from buyer or buyer leaving feedback. If none is left at all than thats fine too.
I got something like this, I got not what expected but as descibed !!!!!!!!! How can they expect something to be different that it is described :rolleyes:Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

I think what this thread illustrates is whatever we do, and how carefully we treat other users we are all bound to run into a user TSFE (too stupid for ebay) and get a neg. Once we accept that maybe we can relax a bit knowing that it doesn't really matter how hard we try someone will get us eventually.
I've certainly had my share, from a crazy woman who started to treat me like her very best friend after I entered into a correspondence with her about a skirt, her very first email to me through ebay merely asked 'will it fit me?'.
I've had countless users who apparently Bin'd or bid on items of mine whilst their computer was switched off and they were away. I've had those same buyers still insist they never bid even when they won items at the very same time that they did pay for and when questioned I have been told I will be reported to ebay for hacking into their PC as otherwise how would i know they were online and buying/paying for other stuff at the time.
I've been asked on dates, I've been sent photos of people (some a bit iffy) from people who take the tone of my mails as wanting to be their best friend. I've been stalked more than once.
 The list is endless.
What we need is a better acroynm than TSFE so we can add it to our posts when we think we've got a problem buyer or seller.

Have to say this thread has made me giggle......I've lost count of the idiotic emails I've had asking the most stupid questions imaginable i.e. Item description "teddy bear", question - "I really want a vase, have you got one?" And one lady left me positive feedback 30 seconds after paying by paypal and before I'd even posted the item and then kept emailing me telling me all about her various illnesses!!!!!!!0

 Soo
I thought about suggesting 'Homer' ('Doh, I've got a right Homer here') but he's still considerably smarter than many of the jokers we come across
"I bid by mistake" is still my personal 'favourite'

I quite like the idea of 'a Homer' to describe these people, any other suggestions?
