Thanks, will try and work mine out when I pay some off, had to use my cc a few times which is a pain but here's hoping my Paypal money will pay off some when I get it this week.
It's gone midnight now and I'm getting a few things onto Turbolister ready for tomorrow, I just can't get it done when the kids are up and they are a pain in the evenings at the moment, hopefully when school starts they will be more tired. DD2 fell asleep at 5pm until about 9.30pm then woke up and was wide awake for a bit.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
debt.b.gone wrote: »hey TMD. i have just been looking for tickers...found one but cant quite work out how to get it to show up in my sig....once i do i will let you know...but to work out how much i had paid i just divided my debt total now by what it was and times by 100 to get percentage of debt left.....so 38235.63 / £42048.69 x 100 = 90.93% left to pay.
not up to much really...OH and DD are asleep so im just going through gas bills....we are switching suppliers so im just recording the readings so they dont try and con us at all.
not got around to ebay yet but if i dont get stuff today will def in the morning.
i feel like i have my debt-busting mo-jo back!! :rotfl:cant wait to reach the 10% mark.
its so motivating just to think of the future and how much money we could have sitting in our bank!! i think i am getting wiser with age...alot of my side of the debt has been built up through immaturity and a mindset of "its only money". just want to wave goodbye to it all! :-)
anyway off to carry on with paperwork.
hope you have a good afternoon.

Who are you switching the gas to? We are moving ours from NPower to British Gas - just had the confirmation email through from B Gas. Not bothering with the Elec though as nothing really to save there it would seem.
London was great by the way - didn't really enjoy the Eye though - the heights thing but the Dungeon was brill. Also went to the Imperial War museum and the Maritime Museum at Greenwich - both really good. Have done all the main ones before ie Science, Natural History. Back to work/school for us all tomorrow - we enjoy our freedom too much though (boo hoo!)0 -
we are switching from E.On to scottish power. we were on a capped tariff with E.on but it runs out next month.
just a quick update for me as i am well and truly knackered tonight.
Paid £5.00 to virgin and £12.41 to lloyds.....so that takes me to £135.03 in the 100days challenge not bad so far.
sorry cant stop....so so so tired. back tomorrow with more enthusiasm.
glad london was fab angela....not sure i would venture onto the london eye....wouldnt like that!!

Hi TMD....

Hi. When are you getting married? I've put more money in my sealed pots than I have paid any off a debt. Waiting for my Paypal money to go in. I listed 64 new items yesterday and 27 relists, have got 82 items finishing today so am hoping for a good few more bits.
Got some good bargains at a Car Boot Sale on Saturday, 2 skirts for DD3 (one from Next) 50p each, a Fifi Fleece Sleepsuit from Mothercare new for £2, a High School Musical Dress up set from Disney Store for £2 including pom poms and a Dora jumper dress for 50p.
Did you manage to get many listed yesterday? I do love the free listing days was surprised they had another one so soon after the 10 days of free listings, here's hoping they have another one soon.

paid £7.59 to lloyds card today. Also recieved an opt out of rate changes for virgin card so i have done that today. They make it sound in the letter like its a final thing and the account will stop but the guy on the phone was very keen to stress i could call back anytime and reinstate the card to carry on using it!! I told him i had cut it up lol!! :rotfl:
Going to convince OH that we dont use the xbox and get him to part with it!! then i have a few other bits and bobs that i know i could pop on ebay aswell....i promise to get things on there thi week!!!!!

It's the 28th so have updated my sig due to most dd's going out on loans etc...we have now paid off over 10% woohoo!! £4496.50 in total in 5 months!! yey!! getting there slowly!
Havent been paying off in the 100 days challenge....although I am popping money into a sealed pot which i intend to use to pay off things before the challenge is up...so hopefully i will still complete my challenge of paying of £2032.62 in 100days. So far i have paid off £145.67, but i also have 329.49 saved aswell....so not doing to bad!!
Hope everyone is getting on ok. I promise once the wedding is out of the way i shall be on here more reg.
