  • Hey everyone.
Sorry havent logged in for a while.....debt paying came to a standstill.

I have shamelessly logged in today to undate my signature! its gone back up a little to £39204.29. Due to other expenses the car insurance had to go out on the credit card! It was the last one we hadnt cut up...but on a positive note....i then cut it up!! No more cards now.

Today is a new day so i am going to start my attack on the debts again. I did so well when i put my focus on it, i need to focus myself again.

I do have £135.30 in my sealed pots though so thats a good thing. My aim now is to get it to a large enough amount to dent a debt.

Have had a relaxing morning today with the little one. She has just fallen asleep so im going to make a plan now for the money this month.

We have eaten out a few times this month aswell which has made me feel guilty...and done nothing for my diet!! I must get back on my debt free road!!

Thanks for still checking in everyone. I promise to do more!! xx

Hi, glad you are OK, wasn't sure if you had gone away.

Don't worry too much about having to put things on your card, i have had to do this too that is why I am waiting until my brothers wedding is over next weekend and when I get back I am just concentrating on paying off debts. It's so easy to add £20 or more onto a credit card but not quite as easy to pay it off (not for me anyway as I don't have a job apart from Ebay so am reliant to selling things).

    Anyway, have a good evening.

well after sitting here writing a big post....i lost it!! gggrrr.

so this one may be short and sweet!! so heres goes!....

as promised i sat and looked at our money sitaution. And the plan is to make minimum payments for the next 3 months....then its hit the ground running and we are going to pay £450 extra of one card per month!!

my target for my one year dfw anniversary is going to be £30000. That would mean i would have paid off a whopping £12048.29 in 12months!! that will be super if i can do that. By april we will also have an extra £105.75 to pay at debts due to one of the loans ending in april 2010. This will be added to the extra amount we pay at a debt.

Anyway im off to get ready for an early night.
    back tomorrow. x
  • here i am again...reporting for duty!

have just managed to settle little one to sleep for first time today so now hopefully have 2 hours to myself!!

Am now back on focus and aiming to make small payments every day...no matter how small. we only have £130 to last us 18days so they will be small payments...but at least its something. All monthly dd's are gone, all cc payments for month are paid so its just food needed now. Should be easily manageable.

So today my small payment was £2.17 to lloyds. Just to remind you Lloyds is the smallest of our cards with a total now of £867.17 left on it. I tihnk i will add this challenge of paying it off to my signature!

Am going to get some work done now but will be back on later. I have decided that i must get involved with some more of the challenges on the debt free thread if i am going to succeed.

    back later x
  • ok todays payment to lloyds is actually £4.34 as i have just paid another £2.17 to it. being the geek that i am i like to see rounded numbers! so its now standing at £865.00

  • Glad you are still able to make the daily payments, all my extra payments are on hold now until next week, when I come back from holiday I am going to see how much I can pay off my debts before the New Year, I am hoping to save as many coins as I can in my Sealed Pot to open on 1st December. I am going to buy as much stuff (stuff that I need) from Boots for the points so that I have lots of points and can buy the kids Xmas presents with them. I already have 2 Leapster 2 consoles and 2 games that I bought last Xmas, got the 2 consoles for £25 (so two for the price of one which is good). It will be a cheapish Xmas this year as we have all had to spend out lots of money for the Wedding, 5 flights to Lithuania £770 in total, that is without hotel and spending money.

Can't wait to get back with the debt busting again.

  • well a good morning do far. have cleaned downstairs. been shopping and just paid £5.00 to the lloyds card. After shopping today we now have £80 to last us the 2 weeks.....this shouldnt be too bad as i stocked up on baby food and nappies today so shouldnt need to buy anything for 2 weeks now.

have sold another 2 books on Greenmet so am going for a nice long walk later to the post office to send them off.

Off for a cup of tea now though. will pop back on later at some point no doubt.

  • No debt busting as such for me today but just wanted to touch base quickly!

i got to the post office yesterday and posted my 2 sales on greenmet off.....logged on this morning and another 2 books have sold on there!! bonus!! so i have already posted them off today aswell! the down side is i cant get my hands on the money until sept as i have already withdrawn money this month....but the plus side i have at least £12 to take out in sept.

going to try and have a cleaning mission tonight..house is a little bit messy.

diet back on track and i have lost 3lbs since sunday!! go me!!

anyway...may be back later...we shall see.
    xx

  • just a quickie for me before i sort little one out.

have made a quick payment of £5.60 to lloyds today...

won £5.00 on my daily scratch!! yey!

not up to much today...have saved about £8 in coppers so am going to take them and change them in the coin machine so i can move them into the main sealed pot. i kno i will loose something like 70p by doing it that way but hey ho....its the quickest an d most convienient way of doing it...and my main sealed pot will be more....its 10p upwards that go into it...think there are a good few notes in there too!!

weather lovely today so i am going to make the most of it i think today.
