    hey diary!

well not much going on on the debt busting front really...hence why im not on all the time at the mo.

have things ending on ebay over the weekend so hopefully some extra cash there.

waiting for the balance tranfer to appear on my card....hopefully next week it will be done. it will then leave me with £450 left on my virgin card so my plan is to whack that away asap and thats one card done!

payday next week and monthly dd's will be heading out so that alone will reduce the old signature! :j

OH were chatting last night about it and we both cant wait to be debt free....we will be loaded lol!!

waiting on a greenmet payment so theres another £3.00. With ebay and things like that now im putting it into a secret saving account....i say secret as OH isnt aware of it :rotfl:if he was then there would never be any savings in there. Its not a big amount but each time it reaches £50 im going to pay it off a card. Its mainly lose change.

not much else going on. going to grab a cuppa and biscuit now...not in my diet but hey ho i fancy a biscuit!!

feel a little guilty for neglecting my diary and debt busting mission but honestly this month has been tight with all the car issues. I promise to get back on the wagon with it!!

kadiya - thanks for all the congrats! I do feel like although the last 2 weeks have been slow in terms of debt paying at least the expenses we are having are being paid in real money and not in plastic!

SAYING THAT ..... confession....i went to the next sale today at 4.30am! I bought a load of new clothes for DD and used the one credit card that i didnt chop up! BUT you have my solemn promise that come payday next week i will be paying that amount back off my card!! So its not to bad is it

So far in my paypal account i have £6 and def make £7 over the weekend hopefully more if the bids go up! Be more money to whack off. I have told OH that we are eating what we have in the house before i do a shop. Unless its for bread or milk etc. Need to use the food we have up first...and it will save us at least a week worth of shopping.

Not up to much this weekend. OH working so im going to take little one for a walk when she wakes up.

    hope all is well

    Hi

I went to the Next sales today too, I went at 4am when it opened, it was much busier than the last Sale when I went at 5am when it opened. I got quite a few bits for my 3 girls and 2 pairs or jeans and a bag for myself.

I am away on Wednesday for a week with my 3 girls we are going to my parents for a week and leaving OH here on his own then two weeks after that we are off to Lithuania for my brothers wedding, we come back on 17th August so after that I am going to focus seriously on paying off my cards.

    Enjoy your weekend.

    morning all.
what a horrid day with the weather!!

Angela - yeah i am very pleased with my purchases. Granted i would have loved to have spent money on me but until i am debt free i can cope with my old clothes! At least DD looks tidy now.

well i have just filled in a snowball calculator again to give me some of my lost motivation back. My target remember is to be debt free by nov 2011. My dfw at the moment is coming up at april 2012....so i need to shave off 6 months!! i think i can do that! fingers crossed.

So i have printed my snowball off and from now on i am going to follow it as best as i can. All extra payments will go to the right debt first. As of now ive done little bits of each one....but i am going to pay off the required amount to the correct one and see how i go. So this month i need to pay £500 to virgin cc along with all the other min payments!! wowsers!!

will sit down later and work out our budget for the month. I am trying to go til next weekend before taking wages. So today will just be a small shop of essentials such as milk, bread etc. have stuff in the freezer that i can live off and OH will have to follow suit. :rotfl:

    right back later no doubt.

    Hi diary!!

whoops i seem to be slipping in terms of posting in this. Mainly because im not making payments everyday at the moment. This month has been a horrid month in terms of the car but things are looking better next month.

Saying that i have actually managed to muster up saving of just under £200!! So i could if i wanted pay some more debts off! but my plan is to pay at debts and keep some savings for a rainy day. Otherwise without savings if anything went wrong we would use other means to fund it which would mean more debt!

payday is approaching YEY! minimum payments and standing orders = less debt!! woo hoo!! :j

    achievements this month:-
-saved just under £200 in savings account/sealed pot
-made £59.45 on ebay (minus ebay fees of approx £8)
-paid for car repairs, tax, etc using REAL money.
-ooo not forgetting 3 books sold on greenmet!!

there are probably more but those are the biggies! :T

The penny dropped the other day when i was feeling a little low about not paying off as much as i had started.......

Its not all about paying off debts...its about changing our lifestyle so that we dont add to our debts!:D

Today all i have planned is my food shop. So im taking advice from this website and making a menu list to see if i spend less that way. watch this space.

Right off I pop. See you soon.

    hey diray.

not much going on really. havent overpaid anything this month due to now concentrating on the wedding. Dont want to have to put anything on plastic so am using real money. Which means i cant really overpey anything at the moment.

However this months standing orders have left the account today (well most of them) so its down with the total debts outstanding. YEY!

Have updated the sig....so in 3 months i have reduced detb by just over £3000! woo hoo.

I cant wait for the wedding for obvious reasons...but i also cant wait until after it when hopefully debt figures will start dropping dramatically!
