Thank you for your email.

1. These terms and conditions apply to the ?#100 Online Cash Offer?. Participation in this offer is deemed acceptance of them.
2. This offer is only available to non-Barclays personal current account holders who open a Barclays Bank Account (??new account??) online.
3. This offer is not available to Barclays staff or members of the Barclays Group
4. The account must be opened within 1 month of fully completing the Barclays Bank Account application form online.
5. Once the new account has been credited with #1,000 or more each month for the first two consecutive months after account opening, the new customer will be eligible to receive #100. Only one #100 will be payable to the new account opened and only one new account may be opened under the terms of this offer. The new customer?s account will be credited with #100 within 28 days of the 2nd monthly payment of #1,000 or more being paid into the new account.
6. If a new account is not opened or funded as required by the terms and conditions of this offer, the new customer will not be eligible for the #100.

hello all i thought i would sign up and post my results.

recieved paperwork in about 4 days, filled in and returned.
after a slight wait i got all my banking information over the next 2 weeks.
paid in one £1001.00 on 19th feb, took 5 days to clear, after it cleared i immediately drew £1000 back on 24th~ feb.
paid in second £1001.00 on 19th mar, took 5 days to clear, after it cleared i immediately drew £1000 back on the 24th~ march.
leaving £2 in the account (not sure it this was required but i did so nonetheless.
recieved my £100 on friday the 7th april. (about 2 and a half weeks after second payment!)
thanks all i hope that was of some help.0 -
I haven't got the £100.
Applied on the 18th Jan after spotting the original thread.
Due to the volumes of applications, my account was not officially opened until 2nd Feb. Did the 2 deposists in Feb and March.
Recieved a welcome email on 23 Feb which states:Ok, we admit it! Opening a bank account with us isn't nearly as exciting as winning the lottery. But it can make you feel pretty tickled knowing your cash is in a place you can trust. Add to this the £100 cash you’ll receive for simply paying
in £1000 a month for two months, and things are already looking up.
The 28 days were up on 6th April and the money has not been credited to my account.
I've just phoned and been told that the offer was withdrawn on the 19th and as my account wasn't opened until the 2nd Feb, I wasn't eligible as I didn't open the account before the 19th.
I said I applied on the 18th and it isn't my fault Barclays didn't open the account until the 2nd Feb. Lady wouldn't budge and simply stated repeatidly that I was not eligible for the £100 as the account wasn't opened before the 19th.
I've logged a complaint and said I feel ripped off, especially after getting the e-mail on the 23rd confirming I was eligable and said I will be closing the account. This will take up to 7 working days for a reply, but I'm hoping I'll hear before Friday as getting married and going away. Was looking forward to the £100 as it's been an expensive time paying for the wedding and honeymoon, so it would have come in handy.
I'm not happy with Barclays :mad:Here I go again on my own....0 -
Thank you for letting us know about the loophole. I got my £100 after several phone calls, some letters from Barclays and a few days more than the 28 quoted.0

At the 4th attempt of complaining on non-recipt of £100 ......it worked. Same day account credited. (7th April). Will not trust Barclays with larger sums, acount now being closed. Thanks for this lead, most useful.0

with my mum and we pondered how much this gaff would cost Barclays, not only in terms of the £100 payment but in terms of administration of opening and closing of accounts within a short space of time......
Whilst I know it probably won't even make a ripple in the profits of Barclays, you think it will get a mention when they next announce their profits or do you think it will get quietly forgotten about?2014 Target;

Yahoo...I had loads of hassle trying to set up account in the first place and make sure I would get £100. It was worth it cos I have it now. All those who are worried or cannot be bothered to chase the money should do so  !!! Persistence pays. Thanks Martin and any others involved. :TAndyboy :idea:0
