Maybe you've heard about this but, early next week all UK mobiles will be on a directory which will mean that anyone will be able to access the numbers (spammers etc..)
It is simple to unsubscribe but, it MUST be done before the beginning of next week 13/07/09 to make sure that you are ex-directory.
You may want to suggest it to all your friends and family who have UK mobiles or they could be swamped by unsolicited messages and calls.
Removal is recommended by the BBC
** Remember, all numbers including those belonging to children, are open to spamming and cold calls if this isn't done **
To remove your number from the Mobile phone Directory, click below.
search: 11800 dot co dot uk (i'm new so not allowed to post links)
Once there, click the Ex-directory link (Top right) and on the following screen
you will be asked to input your mobile number and fill in the CAPTCHA.
You will then be directed to a page where you need to input the code you will receive via text.
Once this is complete, you are ex-directory and unavailable to spammers and cold callers etc.. :T0 -

Just had an email claiming mobile numbers will be available in a directory next week that anyone can access. If you want to unsubscribe it advises to log on and select ex-directory. Is this spam?0
