Thanks for the cals Victory. Now I just need to log them into my phone for Saturday night.
I'm off to an Abba tribute night at Old Trafford Cricket Ground. Which involves a 3 course meal. I need to be extra good on Friday and Saturday day just in case :rotfl:
congrats to all loses and sts's
KPC that sounds amazing. I keep telling myself to go for a full massage but am just a little wary about costs and so on.0 -

thanks for the chart granny. Well done dmv, victory & starspar:T:T
thanks dmv -feeling better this evening. My OH is a sweetie where totm pains are concerns, (not enough to offer to make dinner of course, but then hell hasn't frozen over:rotfl:) And my dad is convinced god has to be a man given the whole topic, so I've not ha a lack of male kindness in that department. And over all I 've been very lucky compared to many woman in terms of suffering.
I do think you are right about women tending to be the ones who make it all work - meant to say that when you said it before. I know you've been through a lot, but you've certainly seem to have accumulated an accute sense of observation and understanding through that.
kpc - ROFL at your front room decription yesterday:T.
Don't know how I have managed to lose 2lbs in the last 2/3 weeks. Eating hasn't been of the most healthy kind, but then perhaps I've burnt pf more calories with the work in the house.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Wow me and star sotw:j:j:j:j see something good always comes out of bad, tonsilitis is a weight loss certainty:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Beautifully sunny here so going to do the garden for a bit, can't wait to get the fences up, they are here, well the planks of wood are, oh no not for us going to homebase and buying fences no, no, cheap as chips planks of wood and pillars and OH will bolt it all together in say 4 years time and we will have privacy:rolleyes:, not told the neighbours but what to tell, we have some planks of wood that may end up one summer a fence?:rotfl:0 -

Thanks for the chart granny. It's really motivating for me seeing my loss written down and also others!
Well done everyone!
I found a way of not snacking mid morning (well almost). I decided this week to try to have breakfast as late as possible. I/e not having it when I get up at 7.15am and then getting ready for work.
I now get up and get ready before eating my porridge at 8.15am. That hour makes a difference.
Some mornings I just need a snack though so have a small pear or something similar. Or even plain ryvita with a thin smothering of tescos healthy living cream cheese. Delicious.
All the tips and encouragement in here really make a difference so thanks guys and let's keep it up.0 -
Thanks for the chart Granny...How exciting...Its always easier at the beginning though so hopefully I wil be able to keep it up.
I find the support here great and it is really keeping me motivated at the mo so thanks to everyone...and well done to all who lost or STS. seems like it was a good weeks all round.
Bananasplit I find I eat a lot more if I don't have my mid morning snack. I tend to have some type of fruit and sometimes a yoghurt as well if I am really feeling hungry.
Victory -Glad your mom has realised how much she needs you and way to go with the weight loss.0 -
Great losses again!! Thanks for the chart granny.
I am hormonal as hell at the minute arrrggghhhh craving sugary things, went over cals yesterday and ended up eating 1855 calls 355 over my allowance but it is all written down in my food diary (would normally write the day off and not write down what I had done) so that is progress for me.
Today's plan
B - ready brek & sugar
Exercise - week 2 of my couch to 5k run podcast running for 90 secs followed buy brisk walk for 2min, I think I did about 3 miles in total again.
1/2 banana
L - salad, jacket spud & 3oz steak (was lush!!) (oh and 1/2 mini pitta bread)
T - is going to be a chicken, veg & potato dinner might even have a yorkie pud too
Exercise class tonight
Supper - an apple and maybe some grapes
I aren't going to try and recover the cals that I went over on yesterday today as I am still struggling with the pmt so no point in denying myself today as it may just make me worse. Will try to recover those cals over the weekend before Tuesdays weigh in again.Following :money: to keep us debt free :j0
