Shh, don't want to jump the gun but I think I may be 'in the zone' - just met OH for lunch and it was easy not to have any treats :T We're off to the pub tonight and I'm driving ;) I've explained to OH why it's important and he's supporting me which is a lovely help. Thanks so much for the encouragement Granny, the future is definitely worth it :T:j

Right, what about calories in a pint of cider vs. a pint of grapefruit and lemonade vs. a pint of fresh lime and soda? I know which is best of course, just want to work out what's what when I want to choose a treat. Thanks.

Alcohol increases your blood sugar levels making you feel hungry. Unfortunately it’s normally at times when the only food available is junk food. The values below are the calories you are likely to consume after a night out.
Oh and don’t that alcohol will make you feel hungry - all those late snacks are packed full of calories as well.
    Packet roasted nuts
    300
    Packet salted nuts

    Packet of crisps
    130
    Large pizza

VICTORY - hes asking because its what he wants/needs to hear. Obviously you shouldnt say it back just to please him as that just makes it harder if you decide to leave, but if I was him annoying as it is for you to hear I would probably be the same. Sorry your day hasnt gone to plan though. EDITED TO ADD - Reading back that makes me sound really judgemental and I really didnt mean it like that, yes its hard for your OH but its just as hard for you I'm sure. Ive said before that I think women shoulder most of the stress/worry/responsibilty for most things in family life and you definitely deserve to make yourself happy x

Well this is an expensive month for my car! £300 for MOT/repairs, £550 insurance, £33 breakdown cover and then tax at the end of the month! Gahhh! Means I can forget about it again till next year though.

Late lunch/early dinner was fish and chips bought by OH and I have now booked harry potter tickets for 11pm tonight so its gonna be a late one! Red bull (sugarfree) in order I think. Schools break up here tomorrow tho so I wanted to watch it before its full of families in the day time and teenagers in the night! May have a small pot of low fat froyou choc brownie as it is so rich that i dont want to snack for the rest of the film which I otherwise would want to. Didnt get much uni work done again so realllly need to get a move on next few days as I have (very excited about this!) booked to go home for a friends birthday in August but it is the week before my last essay is due in and have the one im doing now to finish before i start that so want to ideally have finished both so I can truly relax and not have a rush of work to come back to!

BAILS - no idea on the calories, have you tried googling? Have a good night whatever you decide!

Great losses this week - and gains where people understand why so that's good too. :j:j:j

Chart will be up later, just waiting for one or two regulars to post.

I'm goingto be away for a while at the end of the month/beginning of next month so would appreciate someone else taking the chart from Tuesday 28th July to Sunday 9th August. I would like it back though - I do enjoy doing it. :o Not much excitement in Grannyland you see.

Sorry I can't take the chart on Granny, would if we weren't going away. Thanks for the stats Victory; I'm not sure there's a great difference between grapefruit and lemonade and alcohol! Except the portion of fruit. And the fun ;)

I am guessing the lemonade if not diet has lots of sugars and the grapefruit natural ones but still sugars as the cider would have:rolleyes:

been for a looooooovely facial tonight. alas, the salon has stopped doing the 45min ones so i got the full on one but ooooh i feel good. I tell myself that 'only' going every 6 weeks instead of every month is actually MSE.

yay bails! so nice to have you popping back in. hope you are still in the zone!
