I think we've all got a certain relationship with food, whether it be a healthy one or not. I could have chocolate in the fridge for months (s), I only get that craving perhaps once a month :o However, a 6 pack of crisps in the house, or pringles is a big temptation for me. Would sit down and eat the lot, especially when I'm bored. Have had a few delivery duties this week, so hopefully should have made a small loss, but with the weekend I've got planned I will put it on again, and for once i don't care. Been so long since I had a night out on the town, I'm gonna forget all about the spare tyre and enjoy myself :rotfl::T

Sary, I'm not sure anyone is ever a 'guaranteed' dress size when it comes to labels on clothes... you can be spot on the measurements according to a size chart, but still have to choose a different size for a better fit. So if it's tight it's their fault :D Also well done on 3 months maintaining, I know you want to lose a little more but I hope you feel encouraged!

nmm you've done great in getting to target and staying there! Good for you! You should be really chuffed with what you've achieved since the beginning of the year.

There were quite a few other people with Q2 goals but unfortunately I think most of them aren't posting here anymore :(

I'm halfway through my six-monthly targets so not really due a review this time, but I have achieved my top two:
    • Triathlon - train for and complete a standard tri distance (1.5km swim, 40km cycle, 10km run) Did this on Tuesday
    • Running - train for and complete a cross country run of 30km Did this in May :)

    Morning all,
Fresh start going ok so far! I took my eldest to school then decided to take Daniel in the pram for a jog/walk/jog/gasp for breath :p this morning (1st time I have tried this) I had planned on doing an exercise dvd after taking Tom to school but it was just so warm that I knew that by the time I got back from school run I would have talked myself out of it. So at least I have done something.
    B - Ready brek
L - Pork & veg or left over spag bol
T - whichever is left from above!
going to have a banana now
supper - grapes, apple & mango (as the fruit bowl is overflowing!)

Victory, if it was me I would tell the neighbours what we were going to do.
Following :money: to keep us debt free :j

VICTORY - we told our neighbours when we were putting up fences. It avoided any possible tension etc and also meant that we could pop over there if we needed to while doing it (eg other half dropped some tools over there etc) but then we get on with our neighbours so I guess you should go with whatever option causes less stress for you.

Went to see ice age 3 3D last night which was good, but not as much 3D as I expected. Had some low fat choc brownie froyo (i looked it up and whilst its not great for you its much better than the rest of ben and jerrys range and its very rich so you dont want a lot) which was yummy.

Food today will be brunch of scrambled egg on toast and dinner of meatballs in tomato sauce with pasta with cherries and plums as snacks. If I get really hungry then i may pick at some cereal as I had a really hungry day yesterday for some reason.

Was going to cut the grass today but it rained overnight and given how long its got from holiday it will take forever to dry out so that wont happen till at least tomorrow. Means I should get as much work done as possible today, ugh. Have a good day all.

victory definitely tell your neighbours. Are you dead certain it's your boundary? if not you'll have come in a few inches, but it's worth it. My neighbours still kicked off a bit, but it all came right in the end. You don't have to justify yourself, simply tell them that you are having a fence put up, it will be x high and there might be a bit of disruption and noise on days a, b, and c but you'll try to minimise that. I've already told mine about the extension although it has absolutely nothing to do with them, it's just good manners i think. how areyou doing?

Hello all, I'd like to join your thread please! :D
I weigh 14st 4lb at the moment, though was at nearly 15stone about a month ago, so I've started the right way. I'm not sure about target weight as I'm very much broad shouldered and huge boobed and curvy, even when I was younger and thinner. I just want to get to what feels right to me! With the recent weight loss I've managed to wear size 16 jeans that *don't* have elasticated waists and do them up, and that's probably the first time since I had my son 4 years ago! I did weight watchers a couple of times as a youngster and lost about a stone each time, before losing interest / being poor. Now, I'm a mother and so obviously have no free time ;) and I'm also mildly agoraphobic, so I don't think I'll be joining WW again. I just want to use the general principles of low sat fat and low calories.
We have an allotment and that's where most of my exercise comes from, I'm vegetarian and want to eventually become as self-sufficient as I can. I'm a hippy chemical-free-money-saving type too so don't like to spend money on weight loss! :rotfl:I've pretty much spent the last year of my life learning how to eat well, be balanced and get the vitamins etc that I need. I treat-eat during the day when I have my own time, my little bit of peace and quiet while the boys at school and the mans at work - but I've now managed to change my treats to nibbles from the allotment, crackers, etc. We're also pretty bad at portion sizes, but hubby is in a band and was a skinny-indie type when we met, he's now getting a beer belly and wants rid! We're trying to eat small on the bad stuff and team it with garden salald and some just-dug new potatoes!

It's been nice reading all your tales of how you're all doing, and I look forward to joining in as much as I can.

    Welcome Clairefun - You've joined!

Telling us your weight is optional but people find it helps to report weight changes once a week. Just post your loss (or gain) in bold bright large font and it will be recorded for all to see on the weekly chart. The chart goes up late(ish) on Wednesdays but just post on what ever day suits you best.

    Welcome clairefun :)

Victory the fence is probably up now but when we did ours we just put it up while the neighbours were out, they were annoying so personally we didn't care, haha. They got home saw it, slammed their door then went crying to their father, who then came had a look and left, oh well.
