off to my parents for 24 hrs shortly. I weighed this morning a day early and it's 2lbs on for me please granny. I know where that has come from: bread and choc biscuits. However, that takes me to my 'no way am I staying at that weight' upper limit so I will be getting that off this week.

Just popped into town and bought myself a couple of dresses: if this weather is going to continue I am desperate for a few more clothes.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Firstly it's a STS for me this week.

One thing with the heat, I know I am eating alot less due to having no appetite due to the heat. Would not be surprised if part of that was due to dehydration hence why today I am forcing myself to have a strong version of my st mark's solution.

So unsuprisingly I didn't get up for a run this morning - probably something to do with being up past midnight last night and the fact I am not a morning person at all. Going to try again tomorrow as it is much cooler in themorning and a run tomorrow evening is definitely out do to a trip for a curry.

Hi everyone. Can i go down as a sts this week please. I bought some new scales today. They are WW ones and measure bmi, body fat % and water % as well as obviously your weight, am quite impressed for £15. Also I am happy to say that in 3 weeks of holiday gorging I have only put on 7lbs and I expected at least 14lbs so am over the moon. However as I reset myself before I went away in anticipation of this gain tomorrow is day one of getting back into healthier eating.

Well done to everyone who lost this week.

    Hello everyone,

Been busy all day; I did over 4 hours solid ironing today - 7 baskets worth (I was washing/drying on the line/ironing as I went) in the end. I didn't stop for lunch until nearly 3pm, which was way too late, and then I made a bad choice.

Went out on the motorbike this evening to a local beauty spot, and it was gorgeous. A hot air balloon took off just a few feet away, and over our heads - brilliant!

Weigh in tomorrow, not had a sneaky peek, so not sure what to expect.

    Food today:
    B - shredded wheat
    L - almond croissant (!!)
    D - chicken salad
snacks - handfull of nuts, 6 jelly snakes

Hoping for another good night's sleep. I changed the bedding last night to a light eiderdown with a cotton sheet, and it was so much cooler, so I slept better. My shoulder and hands are still aching, a bit more so as I did some digging in the garden yesterday and aggravated it. Not sure what's wrong with them, but trying not to go to the Drs. with it if I can get away with it.

sts for me this week - but given how naughty I've been I'm glad for that.

Congrats on all the losers and other stsers.

  • hey all. as one of the newbies it does feel hard to join in the chat sometimes but im so grateful ur all here.

felt very smug today as was 2nd day of my training for my sat job and walked about 40 mins to get to work, both to save £££'s on petrol and lbs off me but we'll see what happens tomorrow morning as i dont think ive been eating very well. have to say the 40 mins walk back after doing 9-5 didnt feel quite as good. luckily im working as a cashier so can sit down for a lot of the day and then walk around town at lunchtime. means im not allowed internet tho and havent been doing as much exercising as last week.

got an audition thursday, not for a paid dance group but for a community dance company for ages 16-21 (I'm 20) so fingers and toes and legs crossed for that, was in it 2 years ago when i decided to study dance at uni and missed it immensely. hubby doesnt understand why id do it if it wasnt paid - when i say experience, he says you dance 4 times a day tho. yes, i explain but not as high a technical standard as those training to be pros and i dont have as much as experience as everyone else.

wow, sorry for my ramble - you can guarantee ill be tired tomorrow when i weigh in so no long ramble 2moro :)
I am a poor student wife now but don't think I can edit username? i study dance and love it though of course, it'll be a career that doesn't earn a lot of money!!

lost 5lbs so far - up to 11lb more to lose i think, will stop if it looks skeletal though dont think that could ever happen!
