Good morning losers (and stay the samers and slight gainers)
I still haven't managed to read through this entire thread but I keep coming back to it to try and get up to speed. Almost the end of week 2 and I'm not very confident as I have been cooking and baking an awful lot of stuff recently, and eating it!HOWEVER, I have still given up the between meals snacks and have given up eating after dinner. Hmm... except that my 'food diary' where I am listing everything that gets consumed makes for desperate reading. so it's time to 'fess up to all the extras that a real diet wouldn't allow:
2 x macaroons
Half slice fried dumpling (it's a bit like fruitcake)
1 x macaroon
Handful of liquorice allsorts
1 x macaroon
Chips
3 slices pineapple upsidedown cake
All of the above was spread out over the past week and includes today's slice of cake that's being served as tonight's pudding, possibly even with custard, so you can see why my weight loss is going to take some time. As soon as I can get back out to restart my walking/jogging exercise I will. For now, I need 1 back and 1 knee to mend first. And I did sneak onto the scales this morning even although my weigh-in is tomorrow morning. Will wait another 24 hours before seclaring though. :rotfl:
Bails, your WL plan sounds a great idea, have you an easy installments plan to incorporate such a 5 month programme and if I start mine in March to finish in August, I could be home all slim and trim in time for the wedding!:rotfl:
I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

Sometimes you have got to take the seagull view of things and see your weight loss over a whole month, as individual weeks can fluctuate irrationally at times.
Brighton Belle My only defence (and I know it's not very good) is " I was alot younger and it was when he first started - and he was supporting East 17" . Does that make it worse or betterI will try to raise my standards from now on

lol, poor peppop. I think Peter Andre is a very clever man. He's come out of that whole divorce thing looking like an absolute saint. Every pic you see of her half naked falling down drunk always seems to ba accompanied by a pic of him with te kids looking like he's gonna cry. He's a genius. But he really can't sing.0

I think it just shows that he is a much better person than she ever could be:D I was a fan, watched all the shows now do not watch her just his show and he comes across as a true family man that adores those kids, a very grounded high moral man and she gutter trash:rolleyes:0

Hi all
Missy - I didn't realise there was an exercise thread so I will join you there when i've caught up with this one. Thanks for the TOTM tip - i think i usually gain 2 - 3lbs but i will see what happens.
weesmiler - :hello:
bails - i'm done with the pop confessions. i've just had a think and i'm definately not admitting to any more:rotfl:Can you sign me up for your WL package, location sounds much better than the local hall
sarymclary - ooh jealous - you've seen the stereophonics. They're on my must see before they split up list. I have heard that they are touring again soon. Does anyone know when the tickets go on sale? Get well soon - nothing worse that TOTM and feeling Bleugh too.
Hezzawithkids - lol @ sunday rush
nykmedia - Half slice fried dumpling. I couldn't resist that either mmmm making me hungry thinking about it. Was it homemade?
katiepoppycat - Peter Andre... sing... I was far too busy watching his six pack to notice. No seriously you're right he was awful and the person who did his PR during the Jordan fiasco deserves a big payrise
Off to make a coffee now. See you tomorrow for my 1st weigh in.0 -

I got an alert email last Friday to say tickets were going on sale for the Stereophonics. The tour starts next year. Hope this linky works for you:

I love live gigs, but my ex had totally different musical taste to me, so we never went. Since then I've seen the Foo Fighters 3 times, Serj Tankian from System of a Down supported once, but he was poo. The Futureheads, Paramore, Kids in Glass Houses, Supergrass and can't remember the rest! I'd love to get to see Muse, but the tickets sell so fast, and the only ones left are in the gods. Radiohead are also in my 'to see' list, along with Elbow and Kings of Leon (they played the week before the Stereos last year, but we didn't realise).
Victory - I guessed it was Mari Wilson. Is it just me, or did she always sing a bit flat?
I'm still full of snot, and little one is still home, but seems to be much better, so he'll be back in school tomorrow. Hopefully we'll be both on the mend by the end of the week. At least the sun is shining. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Im not contemplating babies yet scary dont worry. Im just letting the world know how insanely broody i am, but i am smart enough not to blow the best years on my life being old and boring, but it doesnt make that wanting go away anymore.
That Jane clark potter must have been on here on some point, cos i have edel cole and martin lewis as mutual friends. I was only asking because her facebook status updates every 5 seconds during the x factor are a little crazy0 -

Ah peppop - youthful indiscretions can always be forgiven:D
Sary - hopefully it's the dense snot that will be any added weight this week.
Nyk - I guess it's the weigh in that will tell how the home fare is affecting you.
Thanks sary - it did give me saint like status with my friends but it seemed easily the obvious thing to do. I hope I get the chance to do it again.
Victory - I can't believe some peoples lack of sensitivity. Mind you, when a friend of mine was diagnosed with Breast cancer, I was the 1st one she told (on the phone) and within 10 seconds I seemed to have mentioned Linda Mc dying from it:o. There was a silence on the other end of the phone and then we both burst into laughter, and couldn't stop. After which I said I can't believe I just said that.
Still we had a good laugh and she has gone on to be sucessfully treated and be clear 4 yrs later.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
