  • yay beanie!

reporting a 0.6kg gain this week - which as i ate roughly my own bodyweight in dominos pizza last night i ca nlive with. OH had a particularly bad day and in a moment of weakness we went for it. Low syns the rest of the week! struggling at the mo because my clock has gone back - I'm wanting to go to bed at 0900 and get up at 0600! Put the time to good use this morning by mending some medieval shoes. I have sore bruised fingers now but hte job is done - very mse too - OH didn;t think they could be saved and really doesn;t have £50 to spend on a new pair. Ive stitched the soles back to the uppers and patched the soles. Admittedly with araldyte, but who' s going to know?

  • STS this week for me - quite happy with that as I've fallen off the wagon a few times (wine, crisps, home-made choc chip cookies etc) plus didn't get as much exercise in as usual.

Does anyone who uses food focus can guide me if that is helpful. Also where can I find the calorie content of say asian foods (home made curry etc).

You can make meals (bottom button of the 3 on the food log screen) so I add all the ingredients on there once and from then on I have my own meals to just add at the click of a button.

The girlies on my thread and I started a 10 week challenge to each drop a stone by the end of September, so tomorrows weigh in is a big one for me. Unfortunately its still TOTM so I feel whale like and I doubt I'm going to hit my target.

So, the big day today. As its still towards the end of TOTM I had my heart in my mouth as I approached the scales. However, I was pleasantly suprised, as I was at a 4lbs loss!!!!This means I've bang on hit my target for loosing a stone in 10 weeks! So, I'm celebrating with a gu mini chocolate pot (167cals, not the end of the world!) with my tea tonight, then rolling straight on to the next stage tomorrow, which is to loose another stone by new year, and will have me almost (about 5 lbs off) my goal. That's less than 1lb a week. Simples (as Aleksander would say!)

  • Hello all

Now back to where I was when we went on holiday to Brittany on the 1st of this month. 77.0 kg

That's 0.4 kg loss from this time last week.

I've got swine flu. Been awake most of the night coughing. No idea where it came from. We went to a Macmillan coffee morning last Friday, then round Tesco, then Saturday and Sunday we were at the English Democrats' Party 7th annual conference at the Thistle Hotel Brands Hatch. Lively, inspiring, motivational, wonderful to be among like-minded people...came back Sunday evening and started to feel ill, feverish, cough. DH went out on Monday to get my Tamiflu - that seems to have reduced the fever but the coughing is just something else. Still, weight loss - good news!
