If you're exercising so much Missy is it possible you've gained muscle mass not fat?

Thanks Dinah - no not really, I've been doing this for a long time and the exercise I do more or less just maintains my muscle mass :) I have an average gain of 0.2kg body fat plus 0.1kg muscle each month so far this year. I don't mind gaining a bit, but I do mind not being able to lose it! I'll never be able to maintain long-term unless I can get this cracked :p.

Will see how the 1600/day goes for this month, it's a long time since I've dropped the cals by that much, so perhaps it will shake things up! Just don't want to end up barely maintaining on 1200/day again like last year.

    Well done Victory, Nice one.

Ball is on the other foot here. Looks like I'll be unemployed pretty soon, and I can't wait. Boss put me out on a small duty, but delivering to 16 blocks of flats, 4 storeys high with no lift. My knee has been a bit dodgy for years, so the coming down the stairs has aggrevated things. Now have to see ATOS doctor as there is no firm diagnosis for my knees yet, although last time they were like this it was a trapped membrane. Just wish they would give me the bullet and I can move on tbh. Have already started applying for other jobs, including one in local mortuary :D

    Hello Safed. :hello:
    • Write down every single thing you eat or drink. That makes you stop and think about what you're doing
    • Post on here at least every day, it really helps to keep you on track
    • Once a week tell us how much you've lost (or even if you've gained or stayed the same)
    • Try to move a little bit more than you usually do - even if it's just getting up to speak to someone rather than call out to them
    • Tell us what you like to eat and someone will give you advice - people follow all sorts of different plans
    • Do you have any foods that you can't resist? Don't allow them into the house!
Hi , Thanks for the support. Yaa I've looked up the thread. Logged food focus ( it is free). As u suggetsed realised I was eating biscuits at work .Of course will cut it down .Ate sensibly today. So should see if I can continue. Did exercise a little bit.
I am 12 stones .Plan to loose by Dec mid atleast 1 stone, wont mind 2 either.
Does anyone who uses food focus can guide me if that is helpful. Also where can I find the calorie content of say asian foods (home made curry etc).
    . I
    Thanks once again

DS is now 16~where have the years gone?

Mine also, having huge probs with him as in trying to clip his wings:rolleyes: last weekend he went on various trains across to Ipswich for a footie match (heart in mouth all day but no probs:D) with is cousins/friends this weekend he wants to go 4 hours away to southampton (fortunately door to door coach) he wants this and that and spend and go out and be more than 16:rotfl:he knows I am starting the new job on thursday and says he can't or won't pick up his brother from school (why bother bringing them up for 16 years:rotfl:) he is going to but everything is I am 16 now so I can do this go there do that o.k we get it he is 16 but not an adult...yet:rolleyes: he also says his footie matches make him far too busy at weekends to go and get a part time job:rolleyes: who is going to get his dinner on thursday as I don't finish until 6 and we eat at 5? talk about a modly coddled 16 year old baby, I am only going to be out of the house 2 times a week for 4 hours each time and it is descended into chaos of what will I do? What will happen to me? How will I be fed? Who will take of me?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
The youngest is no better...who will read to me? Will you leave me some food on the side? What shall I DO until dad gets back? Will he know what to feed us?
This family does not take well to change lol
