Well Vix, let me help counteract your bad feeling by letting my friends on here know that OH proposed to me at 5550m watching the sunrise over Everest :D Yup, think that should do it ;)

Awww that has made my day or week even.

Well you've got to hand it to your OH - difficult to think of a more stunning setting. Congrats to you both - I assume you've said yes?:T:T:T:T:T

Bah hate making posts like above and running. Heart felt congratulations Bails.

Had to drop my friend off at airport this morning at 5:30. Home at 6.30 and straight onto sofa for an hour or two kip. The amount of walking we did at the weekend and the amount of stairs we climbed will hopefully offset any naughty foods I ate. But it was a really nice weekend, and such a good laugh :D

  • yay bails!

bb, are you seeing my oh in secret? I've found over the last week or so that the answer is to start something and call him in to rescue me part way through. And also to accept that even when I get him to clean the bathroom, I'm still going to have to go in the day after while he's out to do the stuff that he missed.

lol vix, the chavs were never all that scary - they'd rather fight each other than the staff! I used to do the door on a friday and sat night - shortest skirt, tight shirt(in my thinner days). Very rarely any trouble at all. On the few occassions when there was the other punters would step in! Had to give a few statements over the years admittedly, generally along the lines of 'and then person a said to person b 'are you looking at my bird' at which point person b said 'i wouldn;t touch her with yours' and then person c(female) hit him with a chair . . . . . . ' plus got lots of gross out drunks and dossers stories too.
  • Bails, congrats on the news. Big wow for the setting - I don't think any fella could top that one. :smileyhea

  • Congrats to bails, how lovely and what a setting.
Been a funny week so far, had a dodgy ear (this its inner ear infection because it feels like my jaw aches more than the ear) will see gp if it's still there Tuesday. Also had that coldy thing which is so slow to develop and keeps you feeling tired for days. Diet is OK hopefully will lose a 1lb or 2 this week, I'm happy with either as long as it's going down.
    HAve a happy Sunday
