SARY THOSE dreaded carbs, bain of peoples lives eh?:D it is very easy to loose focus and go to the other side, a little of this, just a bit of that and maybe that won't matter, at least you are going for it and know what to do:D Good luck:D

  • celebrity slim is kinda like slimfast. thou im not too sure how many kcals you can have for dinner... i've got 8 days to loose some lbs before holiday. wish me luck
  • right, that is two rooms now clean, painted and empty and I am sitting waiting for the carpet fitter to arrive.
I am sporting the random paint blobs look.
We both worked like trojans yesterday and had an indian takeaway as a result: I'm hoping the effort will offset that but I'm probably kidding myself.
Question - why to some woman find they are doing all the work and when finally challenge their OH on this, a barney ensues, in which everything is either denied or all one's own fault as 'I am trying to do too much at one time' but then they suddenly start pulling their weight, work really hard... and the so called - 'you're trying to achieve the impossible', suddenly does in fact get done ...
Not talking about us of course HSwhistle.gif

I do find meal planning does help Sary, and with the £'s too.
I find at the moment, if I lose a lb I seem to go into 'wooo, got this weight loss thing cracked - look I'll prove it by eating loads now, becasue I know how to do this really' mode.

Lilvixen: welcome to our thread:T Haven't heard of celebslim. Does it help you graduallyget back to healthy eating patterns so that all the weight doesn't go back on after?

    Hi Lois:hello:
Mazza - have a good break. Why don't bosses realise that they inspire greater loyalty and hard work if they treat people well and with care?

Victory - hope they can get to the bottom of your son's problems. Sounds quite unusal with it's intermittent nature. It might be worth posting smething on the health forum - you might just get someone who recognises the symptoms with their own child and may be several steps ahead of you.
Dinah - glad you now have your reason for the tiny gain. As missy says, sometimes, you need to lok at weightloss over a month rather than a week to get a clearer picture of what is going on.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Thanks I did try that a while ago and they all said dyslexia, laziness or just his age, he is not dyslexic, def not lazy always very keen to do his homework, very enthusiatic about everything even though he knows he struggles and can become frustrate and his age, well his age is working against him because the other kids are ahead of him and leave it more and his 11 plus and future education will seriously be in jeopardy:rolleyes:
I have now put it on again just incase someone out there has a name for it and can help so thank you.

They say dyspraxia but he has very few sympton according to the website they told me to go on and then again you can match the symptons to the child because you are desperate to match something up to call it a name to get the help:rolleyes:

Victory: Totally know where your son is coming from! ha. I want the money, but the time to be with my pals. Thankfully ive made friends at work, so its almost like im meeting my friends while we work so it couldnt be a better arrangement.

BB: Men! Ive always wondered why men lack the required skills to put things back where they got them from, or to help without being asked ect.

Oh i just need to tell people that i have this really horrible feeling that something bad is going happen. I am telling you this because when you think it and say nothing, something bad happens and then you end up saying, "i had this horrible feeling for ages that something bad was going to happen and it has" so im gunna tell people, and this is me telling people.

To be fair to my boss, he's normally ok. I don't normally mind only getting 24hrs of a shift change, it's usually no problem, it was this weekend as i had plans that he knew about. What peed me off was the fact that he wouldn't answer his phone or return my txt msgs.

Sary, from germany, good luck with the no carbs. I can't do it. I wish I could. I can't eat a lot of veg n stuff. I've tried, can eat a few mouthfuls b4 i start gagging.

Good luck with the following week people. Think it will be another gain/sts as we're just about to go out and have a full english breakfast. Which followed a full roast dinner last night (with all the trimmings) But we are going walking and sightseeing in Glasgow and or Edinburgh today. Guess it will be decided when a certain guest decides to get out of bed :p
    4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j
