Happy Brithday Victory. I hope the comng year brings you happiness, you've worked so hard on everyone elses in the last year!0 -
nm- DONT DO IT!!!! ok, you've had a tiny slip up, its really not that bad, put it behind you and move on, if you can though, try and get something to eat which will aid with your loss, feeling hungry will only make that 'oh i might as well...' feeling worse, and the sooner you fill up on somehting 'good' the quicker that feeling will go!
stay strong sugar, you will kick yourself if you cave!
xxshift the bulge! - 54lb lost so far :j .....alot more to go......:eek:0 -
Yey Happy Birthday Victory - was going to post the cake emote but decided that would be mean - have a noise maker instead! _party_
NM go for a walk at lunch and get some dried fruit or bananas, they fill you up wile being low in calories. Cheat's way would be diet coke as that fills you up too, but nowhere near as healthy!!! Don't give up because of one small slip.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off0 -

HAPPY BIRTHDAY VICTORY!
Every year I console one of my friends, who always gets her hopes up for birthday surprises, and never seems to get them.
Ask yourself this: who usually organises birthdays in your house?
I bet it's you.
That's why your own birthday goes lacking.... because we don't organise it ourselves. I'm the same. I love birthdays, especially my own, but it is invariably a half-hearted, damp squib of an affair.
You could always do what my older sister did, and organise your own party at a venue, and invite all your mates along. She had a fab time. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
aww victory - YOU ARE NOT OLD COZ THAT WOULD MAKE ME ANCIENT!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
What sary says is true: my OH couldn't organise the preverbial in a brewery, so if I want anything to happen on my birthday is has to be down to me I'm afraid. Ditto any rememberance of the anniversary of our 1st date.
For my birthday this year he did manage to buy something - a usb sticky thing (no connection to the fact my current one is full up and annoying him :rotfl:)
I would like to remind you of some of your suceeses - that you are sucessfully raising two kids; no mean feat! Managing to keep your chin up around no job & stretch the housekeeping so you can all eat, were incredibly dutiful towards you mum last month. You have also lost 6 stone in weight and continue to keep it off:T and sucessfully educate your sons on healthy eating and regularly offer support and advice on this forum.
And you had a great day out together by the sound of it on Monday - if your birthday had been then all would have felt different. It's only 3 days since how you felt then, and not a lot has really chnged in that time has it?
Birthday can be, as beanie says, can be 'funny old things'. Sending (((hugs))))
I'm going to catch up with the gastronomy economy prog on iplayer later: have been following and enjoying the whole series.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
