Drum roll and trumpet fanfare for Rosieposie, SOTW!
Now come on gang - a total loss of 3.6lb between us all??? We can do better! (Though I haven't actually been doing too well recently ....... I'm thinking positive)
PS RP --- you said you'd lost a total of 7lb, would you like me to put the 5lb you lost before you joined us on to the chart or leave it as it is?
As usual, if your name has vanished from the chart it's just because you have n't posted a WI for a while. As soon as you do, your name will magically re-appear.0 -
Know I missed the chart this week out of fear of the scales given I just had a few days in Ireland with my OH family and we ate out twice a day, but I faced them this morning and I'm-3lbs!!!Makes the group average a bit better at any rate! Very chuffed with that, only 1 more lb and I'm under 10 stone. I'm refusing to go try on wedding dresses until I'm under 9 1/2 stone so hopefully will get there sometime in October.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off0 -

Morning all,
am going to try and post here daily to keep me on the straight and narrow. Potted history: Latest diet started on 2nd August. I had two good weeks and two not-so-good weeks and total weight loss has been 5lbs. I've been given vouchers for cheap gym useage (£1.55 per session) to use before 2nd December so I'm giving a few different classes a go before I settle into a proper routine. I'm not calorie counting, just trying to stick to three meals per day, reduce portion sizes at mealtimes and eat healthy snacks. Starting weight at neginning of August was 14st 5.8lbs. Starting weight at start of September was 14st 0.8lbs. Aiming to lose 5lbs per month overall as I am a typical yo-yo-dieter
Yesterday's Menu:
Breakfast - Bowl of Muesli with S/S Milk
Lunch - leftover Chilli with a wholemeal pitta.
Late Afternoon - Banana
Dinner: Sweet & Sour Chicken, rice, 2 x duck spring rolls, portion of prawn crackers (ready meal, not from a takeaway)
Exercise: Went to a circuits training class which had been recommended to me by my Health Trainer, however I didn't like it as:
a) don't feel I was fit enough.
b) Class was too full - counted forty people and only one instructor
c) Instructor didn't ask if anyone was new.
d) Instructor didn't give us beginners options (no way I could jog for five minutes and I felt I was letting myself down by reducing this to a fast walk).
e) Instructor didn't show us what to do - in fact I only knew some of the moves because I have done Body Pump classes so knew what Clean and Press and upright rows were. If it hadn't been for my friend I wouldn't have had a clue what Burpees or squat thrusts were.
f) Class was full of really thin and gorgeous people. I know that this type of class is usually a 'myth' and people are afraid of this when they go somewhere for the first time only to see it's all shapes and sizes, but not on this occasion!
g) The location was very intimidating, it was in a huge leisure centre with a swimming pool, and there were loads of awful chavvy kids hanging around cheeking the security guards (yes - security guards) off and swearing.
In short, I didn't like it at all, and I feel that I would rather do a Body Pump class maybe preceeded by half an hour in the cardio suite.
(PS - I weigh in on a Saturday morning and this week's loss was 2.2lbs, in case you would like to add me to your chart?)Start Date: 27/11/2010
Padding: Day 42
Target £8000
Amount: £562.230 -

I'm not having a very good day food-wise.
I was late for work so by the time I got in at 9.30am I was starving, and instead of having my usual cereal when I've got to my desk and logged on, I went straight to the canteen and got a (very yummy) muffin and pigged most of it in the lift before I even got to my desk!
Then I had my lunch at 10.50am and I'm now hungry. I've got lots of fruit with me, so I guess I'll try and wait a bit before I tuck into that so that it lasts me through until home-time .
My weekly weigh-in is tomorrow and I think I've put on and can feel myself thinking "well you may as well pig out completely" rather than trying to reign it in and be good still. I had lots of good intentions to go to the gym too, and although I did go on Tuesday night, last night's swimming didn't happen because I've lost my swimming costume. I will go to Body Pump tonight though.......
So I need to not rush back down to the canteen and buy some crisps and a kit-kat. I must not. I must not. I must not.0 -
Oh and Happy Birthday Victory0
