Do exactly that (0800 036 0094) after 12 noon - it'll take about 2 weeks (no need for you to do anything else).

Primus is actually better than Just Dial Saver was in that it lets you pay via credit card, thereby earning cashback as well....

That's not for me. You can't ever cancel a continuous CC authority unless you cancel the card, do it's DD for me.

Yes i have started the process, Bye Bye Justdial Hello Primus  .
There is an option to tag on to your Primus Saver option 2, this is called 1 penny mobile option 2, exactly the same as Primus Saver option 2 but to call any mobile any time of the day 7 days a week for 20 mins will cost 20p worth considering i think.

I got the same email this morning - so i`m off too. Just phoned to get put on the primus saver 2 option, very straight forward.
Lets hope the transfer goes through OK.

Is this actually any time or did you mean offpeak and weekends only? I believe JustDial's was only evening & weekends and to be honest they couldnt sustain loss of money from having people call for upto 20mins during the daytime due to the high cost the networks charge for calls to their network during the daytime.

    excellent!

    Just switched.

Primus were very polite, and managed to complete everything in 4 mins 25 seconds.

fingers crossed their service will be this good, and not change like Just Dial's did.

    :)

    Hi,
I read Heinz's post and printed out his Orchid suggestions, great thanks Heinz.
I can't find a way of gettiing cashback with Uswitch as suggested. EnergyWatch offered cashback but did not come up with Primus Uswitch came up with Primus but could find no reference to cashback.
Anybody know where i can find a Cashback link!
    Steve
If you lend someone £20 and never see that person again.
It was probably worth it.

I had a chat with Fergus about the Talk Talk situation. Talk Talk is on the war path, buying out quite a few small companies and moving them onto their own plans. I asked if Primus would be next and they said no. Apparently Primus is part of a larger international organisation which is currently investing heavily in the UK. They're bringing out broadband soon with deals for existing customers. So be happy Talk Talk won't be on Primus' doorstep today.

Apparently BT aren't allowed to compete with these organisations, explains why they are not very competitive at the moment.
