meh...
although im a fan of HBOS and have my main accounts with them.. i've debated with myself since this rate came out over moving money from ybs to IF for the extra 0.75% interest, and i cant bring myself to do it - i just dont like the IF interface. ok if there was £100s in it, but its not worth the hassle for a few £s.Mr & Mrs Doomcow Wedding Fund: £10200/£18000 (by 04/2012) (spent £2000)

Didnt realise they were hbos based, will lloyds keep them alive long term I would guess so
Money should transfer faster to if then ybs if they are within the same group0 -
Think I need an actual link to login if anyone has one, because it keeps trying to give me a mortgage instead when I click on current account.
Guess I'll try credit card login, I dont see savings :doh:0 -
Here is a link https://my.if.com/_mem_bin/Formslogin.asp?EA=Redirect my account has been set up way ahead of schedule.0

What does this mean exactly? That their rates decrease when you are no longer considered a new customer? Isn't this obvious as the high rate is only due to a 12-month bonus?
But, unless you use the IF current account as your main bank account, you would still have the delay involved with transferring to/from this current account, right?
2.75 is NCO.......as rates creep up, ING will put them up to NCO! on their plus side you can close the a/c for 3 working days, then sign up as a NC.........of cousrs you will lose about a weeks interest.0 -
IF seem to take a long time in setting up my new account. All documents were received and my DD has been set up but no money taken from it. I want to put money into it, but I can't! Very frustrating.0

How long have you been waiting since you sent off your initial online application? I just sent mine off over the weekend.0 -
I sent mine off last Tuesday and I know they received it on Wednesday because I had to re-set my online password because I made a mistake on it. The fact that the DD has been set up but the opening balance not taken is a bit worrying.0

I've just spoken to IF and I'm even more frustrated now. My login details have to be reset, so they have to send me a new code:mad::mad::mad: (how long will that take) and they checked on my DD and it takes 10 working days for the cash to reach my account. That means I can't do anymore till 2nd July! I think I'll stick with my AA savings, not so much interest, but a lot easier to handle!!0

The application process is really easy, yes they do ask some pertinent questions about income etc, but I suppose these days, they have to. You have to do everything online. I applied on saturday, got the forms on Monday, sent them straight back, but I pre-empted the situation and got into a bit of a mess when I logged on as it wouldn't accept my password. I rang them(not on the 0845 number:eek:) and they reset my password, but they said my account would not be activated for a couple of days as they have to do final checks and send the DD to my bank. All in all, quite painless!
Think I've changed my mind now. See my post of today!0
