tried to deposit some cash last tuesday into IF from bank of scotland and its still not there.
talk about slow or !!!!!!.
have just closed my account - if i put something in and wana take it out thats gona add up to more than 2 weeks or so (have tried this recently).
so imo - if you want instant access - try somewhere else, otherwise if you want to stash the cash and leave it for a rainy day, fine. plus i just wasnt "happy" with their interface and didnt get "that" feeling - the amount of hassle i had to go through to open it in the first place...
the search continues.
Think I'm going to do the same. See my post below.0 -

Transactions can only be scheduled for the following day, not for the same day. The BACS transfer, however, will take 3 days to use banking terminology: set up payment on Mo, leaves on Tu, arrives on Th.Dagobert0 -
Has anyone actually been able to deposit or withdraw money from this account. I had to go through the rigmarole of having a new security number sent, and when I logged on, my balance was nil, even though I set up a DD. What a c**p system:mad:0

Ouch.... just applied for this account and then read the thread... not sounding good....
Can anyone reassure me?0 -
I'm still waiting for my £1 to be sent by DD from my bank. Blimey, if it takes this long to deposit money, it's a waste of time!:mad::mad::mad:0

My DD hasn't even been set up. Posted all the signed forms off to them last week.
When I try logging in with their online banking it takes me to a signup for a new account0 -
I have been with Intelligent Finance since 2001 and a few months ago transferred all my saving from my other accounts with them into the I-Saver Account. This is by far their best paying savings account at 2.85%. The Cash ISA is also good at 2.75% (if you have to pay tax on your interest).
With the I-Saver you also need to have an IF Current account to easily transfer money in and out of the account online. It transfers instantly into the C/A and is immediately available for you to transfer it to another bank or take it out from a cashpoint.
IF have now reduced their interest rate on their Direct Access Saving Account (DASA) to a pathetic 0.05%. I am sure many people will still have considerable amounts of money in this account and are not aware of how the interest rate has been slashed to virtually nothing. My mum did and she has now opened an I-Saver. If you are in their DASA, get out of it fast and transfer your money into an I-Saver.
Any questions, phone IF on theri Geo. Tel No of 01506 817996, not their expensive 0845 number.IF THIS POST HAS BEEN HELPFUL - PLEASE CLICK ON THANKS :j0 -
I think Leeds bs have an online instant account paying 3.05%....0

Wonder of wonders! My £1 has left my bank by way of DD. Wonder how long it will take to reach my IF account! Won't hold my breath:mad::mad:0
