Ignore them. I have finally managed to get Central Ticketing off my back, after receiving letters from Roxburgh Debt Collecting agency and then a "Notice of Intended Prosecution" from Graham White solicitors who act on behalf of Central Ticketing. This is a scam. DO NOT PAY ANYTHING. Keep copies of all correspondence and make notes of any phone calls made, dates and the names of who you spoke to. If you speak to anyone at Graham White Solicitors then be prepared for a frosty response (but then you will probably get the same response if you speak to Roxburgh Debt Collectors because they share the same office as Graham White Solicitors) - they are awful and should be ashamed of themselves for working there. Go get a proper job and stop ripping people off.0

Yes, send them on to the SRA - they seem to be very interested in Graham White Solicitors. Also, contact Watchdog and let them know. You can do this through their website link. Anyone who is reading this and in the same situation, please advise SRA and Watchdog.0

Thanks very much for your prompt response. I am just a little concerned that I will end up being summonsed to the county court regarding this matter.
Central Ticketing do not seem to want to communicate with myself with regards to this matter. I emailed them on the 28th Of July and I am still waiting for a response. Unfortunately for me I no longer have the original email challenging the parking charge, however, during a telephone call with Graham White solicitors they did tell me that Central Ticketing had responded my email - it seems I just haven't received it. The woman from Graham White then banged on about them being in posession photographic evidence of the 'offence'. She did not seem to be interested in that the space where the car is parked is my space and that I do have the relevant parking permit - of which I furnished them details of.
These people just make my blood boil!!!
Hey, if it was Monica that you spoke to at Graham White, she is an absolute dragon. In fact, they all are. Just ignore them. Keep all correspondence and do not be bullied into paying - their scam is illegal.0 -
Hi ladies and gents....I have today received yet another letter from Roxburghe Debt Collectors. This letter states that they have "recently" sent a notice to the registered keeper, to which they have not received payment, or satisfactory grounds for appeal. I find this letter hard to take seriously since the "offence date" was 10th February 2010 - 8 months ago!! I refused at the time to pay the parking charge notice and challenged the issue of the notice with Security Solutions Wilmslow Ltd. In fact there was an interesting exchange of emails between myself and the above mentioned company, so much so that the managing director himself emailed me and stated the follwing;
"It is amazing that only the people who have been ticketed at St Georges Island are the ones who look to weasel out of the charge due to their own inability to see signage that everybody else sees.
Please do not contact this company again as we deem this to be harassing and vexatious and we will take whatever action is necessary to stop this."
Nice ay, anyhow, I digress. I was just wondering if anyone knows at what point Roxburge and GWS will give in and stop harassing me? Does anyone know if there is a 'time limit' to take someone to court? And finally, has anyone else had telephone calls from Graham White Solicitors, whereby they use a different mobile number each time they call? And why on earth they would think I am going to confirm my personal details with them over the telephone when they have rung me, is totally beyond me!! They don't seem to like it thou', they just hang up!!0 -

A PPC complaining about harrassment? Priceless!

Nobody knows. They change their tactics according to how desperate they are.
Does anyone know if there is a 'time limit' to take someone to court?
Six years, but don't worry. Roxburghe/GW never ever do court.
And finally, has anyone else had telephone calls from Graham White Solicitors, whereby they use a different mobile number each time they call?
Lots of people have, and lots of people have successfully ignored them.
And why on earth they would think I am going to confirm my personal details with them over the telephone when they have rung me, is totally beyond me!! They don't seem to like it thou', they just hang up!!
Carry on ignoring.0 -
I received a ticket today from Security Solutions at St Georges Island Manchester. I was parked outside my flat over night - I had a permit for 2 hours but totally forgot about my car and left it over night.
I went to move my car at 7am but it had a ticket on it from 6.50am. The fine is £75 if paid in 14 days or £100 after that.
After reading all the forums, it appears that people are ignoring the ticket and the following letters. I am selling my car in 2 weeks.
Do I ignore it? How will they get my details?? Or should I just pay up?!
Thanks for your help!:o0 -
I think you already know the answer. If its not a council or police ticket feel free to just ignore them. Don't contact them/ call them/ appeal/ acknowledge etc just ignore. The do give up after a while.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Ignore all correspondence from them, also report them as the tickets and letters they send out are in breach of the Companies Act 2006 section 82 - 84 : all registered company letterheads, emails, invoices etc have to have their company registration number on, registered company address, and place of registration on.
Send copies of ticket and any letters you have from Central that do not show these details to : Technical Offences Team, Companies House, Crown Way, Cardiff CF14 3UZ.
Well that wot work for my letter from Valley Enforcement as they have all the above requirements on the letter
Company Registration No: 06659134
Registered Company Address: Premier Parking Solutions ltd
Vantage Point
Woodwater Park
Pynes Hill
Exeter
(no postcode)
Place of Registration: England & Wales
Does this make them legal? and does it make it more likely to end up in the court room?0 -
ALL other parties have to sue for 'Trespass', and to be successful, they have to prove that the public have no right of access. In the respect of supermarket and privately-owned 'Pay and Display' car parks, and un-adopted roads serving housing estates, this would prove impossible, as the whole idea of their construction is to allow the public to access the facilities they were built to serve.
That's not the case at all. Those operating car parks will allege you entered a contract by virtue of their signs which have the Terms and Conditions on.
They would issue their claim to the County Court based on "breach of contract" NOT tresspass.
However PPCs like Central Ticketing don't actually do court ..they just write threatening letters which can be ignored.0 -
Re: Valley enforcement Parking fineThey have to be a BPA member in order to get access to the DLVA database.
