CENTRAL TICKETING NEVER EVER TAKE PEOPLE TO COURT.

They just work on percentages, the company they employ to recover debts work on a no win/no fee.

The owners of central ticketing have court experience themselves but not as claimants

I live in an apartment block, which has secure parking. Upon moving into my apartment I was given an allocated parking space and a parking permit. Unfortunately for me, a couple of days after I moved in, I forgot one evening to display my permit, and the day after I found I had received a parking charge for not displaying a permit.

I emailed central ticketing and challenged the ticket and explained the circumstances and asked them to revoke the ticket. After 9 weeks I received a letter from Roxburghe demanding payment for the parking charge. Needless to say I was surprised by this, as I thought the matter had been concluded.

I then sent another email to Central Ticketing to ask for some clarity, yet in the mean time I received yet another letter, but this time from Graham White Solicitors who are threatening to take legal action against me!!

Now I understand that I did not display the permit, but surely, seem as the space I park in is allocated to my apartment and I am in possession of the valid permit, that should be enough for them to take this matter no further??

Anyone got any advice on where I should go from here?

Just ignore them. As you have discovered, there is no appeals process with these clowns. Expect another letter from Graham White then they will go away.

Thanks very much for your prompt response. I am just a little concerned that I will end up being summonsed to the county court regarding this matter.

Central Ticketing do not seem to want to communicate with myself with regards to this matter. I emailed them on the 28th Of July and I am still waiting for a response. Unfortunately for me I no longer have the original email challenging the parking charge, however, during a telephone call with Graham White solicitors they did tell me that Central Ticketing had responded my email - it seems I just haven't received it. The woman from Graham White then banged on about them being in posession photographic evidence of the 'offence'. She did not seem to be interested in that the space where the car is parked is my space and that I do have the relevant parking permit - of which I furnished them details of.

These people just make my blood boil!!!

Agreed. It is unheard of for Central/Roxburghe/Graham White to actually issue court papers. The whole thing is just a mail based scam.They just send out increasingly desperate letters until it finally sinks into their thick skulls that the victim is not going to pay.

Don't worry, and please don't contact them again, it only encourages them to pester you.
