:D Sure do! People got in the way. Dogs got in the way. Got a cramp. Got a stitch. Tripped up. Badly marked course (detour). Didn't sleep well/enough last night. Hangover.

BT & becky dont forget the trusty old 'virus' excuse :rotfl:
I have also started using salt more as I eat very little processed food, never really been a fan of salted peanuts more of a roast fan.:staradmin5k - 00:27:46:staradmin 10k - 00:57.03:staradminHalf - 02:01:15:staradmin5M - 00:44:07:staradmin0 -

If anybody fancies a really fast 10 miler to go for a pb (Becky?) then make a date for your diary of 18th October.
The Cabbage Patch 10 is generally known as the fastest 10 mile course in the country

Its not my fault Uk - all my local races are full months in advance - see the royal parks half for example - blimming full of charity runners so no places for the rest of us, BUPA 10 was the same and LM is even worse (but I'll let them off that one) - It drives me mad that if I want to enter anything locally I have to pay through the nose because some guy in a rhino/spiderman/batfink outfit wants to run it...

but you said royal parks was Zzzzzz

but yeah see you at the cabb 10m with its world famous T-shirt... or so they say

The Cabbage Patch 10 has been a regular entry on the fixture list since 1982!! My first go at it was about 1989, although I dont remember getting a t-shirt back then!:p
